The border is very complicated, and securing the border should be a priority. However, the cost of “rounding up” of immigrants to American tax dollars is untenable… the truth is all immigrants move to the US to work and provide a better life for their families. Instead of spending tax dollars “rounding” them up, let’s give them work authorization so they can support our economy and pay taxes. By not doing so, you are compelling these individuals to criminal activities and/or working under the table, which ultimately hurts American workers. These immigrants are here, so we might as well incorporate them into our economy while at the same time creating legislation that prevents the overwhelming influx of immigrants.

My final thoughts: Sonnenberg's final comments lead me to believe he can't/won't represent the whole district. He can't win the middle with that rhetoric. Kyle sure handed it to Lynch on his DUI and waving his gun around. Holtorf...Jesus...too much of a hothead. I can't handle another whiner. Flora seems to have big ideas but doesn't seem to have a plan to implement them. Too bad she didn't answer with any specifics. Yu seems willing to represent everyone in the district, which means he may be able to garner the "middle" votes as well. He impressed me the most tonight. This debate helped me rule out some of the candidates. Thanks.

As an unaffiliated voter who lives in the 4th Congressional district and watching this debate, it is clear we cannot have Lauren Boebert as our next representative. The truth is that this is a heavy republican seat in Colorado, and it will be a republican who wins the general election. So, whoever wins the primary will be the next representative of our district. I can't imagine being represented by Boebert. I just checked the most recent poll, and it shows Boebert in 1st place and Peter Yu in 2nd. So, it looks like it will be between Boebert and Yu. Mr. Yu was very professional is willing to work with everyone. He has my vote! I encourage every republican and unaffiliated voter to vote for Peter Yu, otherwise it will be Boebert. I will be telling all my friends to vote this way. Hope you do too!

The moderators here, esp Kyle Clark, were fantastic. Wish we could have him on CNN.

The most important things we pay for are housing, healthcare, and education. Republicans never seem to have ideas to tackle those things. Democrats enjoy spending money on these things but at least they are a topic of conversation. I never hear Trump nor any other Republicans talk about these things. It's always tax cuts or complaints about Democrats. Again there are never any ideas.

Kyle Clark is an amazing debate moderator and I wish he was on a major news network! I only wish he had asked Deborah Flora more about her comments. She indeed failed to answer his question, but as a school psychologist who serves in public schools, I would like to know how she can blame the public school her autistic daughter was in for her daughter allegedly going from straight A's to nearly flunking out. That did NOT magically happen because she was diagnosed with autism (that's just silly), and pulling her from a public school and putting her in a private school would not magically fix it. Indeed, public schools are mandated by federal and state law to provide students with special needs with a free, appropriate public education, autistic students included. Private schools are not--they can reject any student they want. "School choice" and vouchers are just a ruse to get American taxpayers to pay the tuition for people who want to send their kids to religious schools or other private schools but can't afford it. They also starve public schools of funding so the whole American public school system will wither and die. Public schools are the backbone of America. They need to be funded and preserved, not starved so the only schools left in the country are private and primarily religious schools. Overall, this debate was entertaining as can be because watching these people get their feet held to the fire, called on their nonsense, and fight with each other like scorpions in a bottle was so revelatory. And Lauren Boebert? She loves engaging with people, she says! Somebody should've answered "Especially at the theater, huh?"
