Plains people were born tough or if born else where and came to the area became tough to survive on the land .

Never ceases to amaze me the numbers of people who pronounce cavalry, Calvary and nuclear as nucular.

Cavalry (from French cavalerie, cf. cheval 'horse') or horsemen were soldiers or warriors who fought mounted on horseback. Cavalry were historically the most mobile of the combat arms. An individual soldier in the cavalry is known by a number of designations such as cavalryman, horseman, dragoon, or trooper.

Really interesting presentation. Apparently leaving one area for another over supposed killings was not an uncommon occurrence. One of the progenitors of a large well known family came here over a supposed killing in Missouri, involving a dispute at a dance over a girl. After many years a relative found his whereabouts and told him that the other young man he had had the dispute with was alive. On hearing this, he returned to Missouri, sought the other fellow out, apologized, and the two had a long visit before he returned home.

What happened to the Espinoza family happened all over the South when the federal armies invaded in 1861-1864. Southern civilians, often in winter months, had their possessions looted, their homes, barns and farm tools burned and livestock stolen or killed, crops burned, even mills where Southerners ground their corn destroyed, such that thousands of defenseless women, children and old people were left without shelter, food or clothing to survive the winter. Many thousands of civilians died at the hands of the Yankees, who were, toward the end of the War, often criminals released from prison by Lincoln to serve in the federal armies.

Most often the Law Enforcement Officers whom perform well will bring to mind the ilthought, "it's a fine line between law enforcement and the criminal elements", so much so, they trip and land on the other side. The laws are man made and largely of an effort to Legislate Social Morality (in every case this is in direct opposition to the freedoms of our idea of USA Democracy/Freedom - it is Dictatorial and can easily lead to the very dictating of One's Beliefs, Religion Choices. They may not be something I would chose - but they are subjects we can't pick and choose or we aren't allowing true Freedom of Choice) So many create the elements of criminal behavor's opportunities and we would be far better served by allowing and applying a structure of managing. Much greater outcomes.

I wonder if he asked after his sister by her maiden name? Did his sister actually ended up marrying Emmett, or if she, wisely, dumped him after his dangerous, immature, and ungallant behavior? She probably died long before he did. Late 30s was about the average age of death for women in those times.

There are no recountings to this gentleman in this presentation except by other white men. There are some very significant historical facts about all of the places that this gentleman lived that are not honorable. There are historical references of people who accused native American tribes of what we are signifying this man wonderful for. A female and a child put on display to justify fear. In 2023 how can we trust that was a true depiction? Joseph Smith followers after all we're trying to justify why so much territory should be assigned to them yet denied. There are twenty women to one man is a disturbing fact that everyone is over looking. This is one critical race theory in school should be thought of as very valuable. A white-collar criminal apprehension? The fear of outlaws and humiliations justified his murderous behaviors and theft? He faked a citizenship because? Like I said, this is every great cowboy story, in history and Cinema and worst of all American pride believes, and that this channel has considered a mythical. This is an "in the name of story" that should no longer be tolerated as complete Truth.

I wish these educated historians would learn how to pronounce Cavalry.

One must understand the difference between "lower mind/Ego Mind and Higher Mind/Mature Thought" and realize that the Application of Conscience Thoughts bring about the High Mind strengths, its a don't react, rather respond, and it is easily accomplished with reasonable self discipline. A personal Standard of Ethics for referencing when needed and Empathy are well serving. Itvisnt a matter of choice - we are all creating from this Law of Attraction anyway. It is a matter of choice in having greater outcomes by learning and adjusting in order to better master of Thoughts, Feelings, and Outcomes. "Ask and ye shall receive..." "Faith the size of a Mustard Seed..." "the body is a temple of God..." - Jesus taught this principal and additional details are available in "the Gospel of Thomas", which was not included in the Bible or the KJV Countless books and videos on the subject from Quantum Physics scientific details to how to apply are available.
