Bad habits, attitudes, lack of focus, discipline, and his immaturity will not just disappear at his next school... I hope for him that he understands that he's in control over his destiny... He's got to grow up, leave that life that's holding him back from being his absolute best on and off the field... Just hope he's not another what could have been.

He wants to get a coach who won’t care as long as he performs on the field that’s what he’s use to but that reflects on a lack of discipline at home. He won’t make it far in the NFL until he changes his wrongful thinking and beliefs. No professional coach is gonna put up with it

Cormani leaves a program with several coaches who played in the NFL, and on Super Bowl winning teams. Two of the coaches are Hall of Famers. The OC and DC are from the NFL, former NFL players and coaches visit the program on the regular and impart knowledge and their experiences in the league and you leave a program like that and you want to make it to the NFL one day? I would think that all of them know what it takes for a player to make it to the NFL and be productive.

Agreed. Smoke is speaking as if he doesn't think support was provided for CM; as if he doesn't think there was a staff in place to assist him. There sure was one for all the other players. Support doesn't work when not used. Who the hell has to tell someone who wants to be a pro to invest in himself. Nothing he says places blame on CM, so I'd file these comments in chapter 13.

You can do a proper eval of a kid, and provide tools and experienced personnel who have worked with the youth - but it doesn't mean that every youth will respond. You can decide to take a chance on a kid, some will wise up and listen and some won't. CP has worked with youth for YEARS before becoming a college head coach, I would think he'd know if it's worth taking a risk. Hopefully, he will decide at some point to listen to wise people in his life and get focused. He is becoming an adult and the onus is on him to decide who he wants to be.

Cormani makes plays see ball get ball mentality. His star rating is more like game rating; his practice rating is 3 star; he too high in his stance; rigid with poor flexibility and uncoordinated. Dan Lanning, the University of Oregon's head coach, was eager to show top cornerback transfer Cormani McClain around campus. As they strolled across the quad, Lanning was extolling the virtues of the university's academic programs when suddenly, without warning, a herd of buffalos thundered onto the scene. The buffalos, escaped from a nearby farm, had wandered onto campus, causing chaos and destruction in their wake. Before Lanning could react, the buffalos trampled him, their hooves pounding against the ground mere inches from McClain's feet. The transfer's eyes widened in shock as Lanning was tossed aside like a rag doll. McClain rushed to Lanning's side, but it was too late. The coach lay motionless, his injuries too severe. The buffalos, still rampaging across the quad, were finally sedated and captured by animal control. McClain was in shock, his mind racing with the devastating turn of events. He had never intended for his visit to end like this. He called for emergency services, but it was too late. Dan Lanning was pronounced dead at the scene. The news sent shockwaves through the university and the football community. Cormani McClain was left reeling, his recruitment visit turned to tragedy. He withdrew his consideration from the university, unable to shake the memory of the horrific incident. The university was left to pick up the pieces, mourning the loss of their beloved head coach. An investigation into the incident revealed a series of unfortunate events and oversights that led to the buffalos' escape. The tragedy served as a stark reminder of the unpredictability of life and the importance of vigilance in preventing such incidents. And so, the story of Dan Lanning's untimely demise became a somber cautionary tale, a reminder of the devastating consequences of a chance encounter with a herd of buffalos.

Are you Cormani? People say that it's the coaches fault, but he's not supposed to hold a player accountable? The coach showed the UTMOST professionalism when asked a specific coach! I couldn't imagine being an emotional male who wouldn't show the NFL scouts what he was about! Just because you're a 5-star talent, it doesn't mean that you're hitting the field! Not one person is pissing and moaning about Bama losing multiple 5 star and 4 star players, and that's not the only school!

So, if a kid doesn't do his homework (doesn't watch film, study the playbook, memorize the plays) then you think it's "unprofessional" to bench that player? I wonder how successful/professional of a "coach" you are.

@@tko8218 In a presser?🙄If Deion would actually get out recruit and get to know the kids before giving offers like the guy said , his poster boy would make him look so silly..😂

@@mike19712010you sound stupid and just a hater…. You gonna put a player on the field that DON’T know anything and then is a liability? Dudes worried about being self centered and smoking dope instead of being great! He needs to MAN UP! Because these WHITE coaches yes I said it WHITE coaches aren’t gonna have a leash and chances like prime gave him ACTUALLY! Bc unlike prime they care about their jobs more than truly raising YOUNG MEN! You probably know NOTHING about the inside of football just a fan who swears he knows it all + age.. stop giving these dudes the excuses to do what they’re doing it’s a reason a lot of young men in this generation are so SOFT! Because everyone wants to baby them and make excuses for piss poor behavior. No he needs accountability. His own mother knew it was a bad decision and he went against her (but being a mom she supported him)! So if someone won’t listen to their own mom what make you think he cares about what prime says? End of the day those scouts are gonna come and talk to prime and everyone that is a coach or member of that staff and anywhere else he goes and ask how’s his CHARACTER! And best believe if he doesn’t change or tighten up he’ll be another wash! He needs to go to USF or UCF because if he couldn’t handle the “circus” everyone says in Colorado he DEFINITELY won’t be able to handle USC and being in LA. Stop making excuses for these weak hearted young men! Best of luck to him tho! And I rather a coach call me out in a presser and FIX what he saying rather than (the league) they call me in the office telling me I’m unemployed now… it’s LEVELS! That’s what cormani missing… Coming from a former d1 athlete that went through the same phases as him once as a young man. And my defensive back coach was Terrell Buckley who played NEXT to Deion. So think I’d know

It wasn't the kid. It's the Coach. Brought all that stupidity to Colorado. Rappers, gold chain wearing. The Coach, has no substance. Corman, should've came to Alabama

If he could not get on the field at Colorado, he definitely would not saw the field with a pair of binoculars at Alabama. 😂
