Colorado MTB 2017 Mary's Loop in the Kokopelli trail system located just outside Fruita / Loma, Colorado. Mary's starts out with a rocky climb up a fire road. After the climb it levels out a bit before plunging down a hillside strewn with boulders. Mary's Loop is an out and back so you'll turn around when you hit Steve's loop and head back. The ride back had some fast downhill sections with some good drops that make it really fun to ride.
Most of Mary's could easily be ridden by a good beginner, however later on down the trail it gets fairly techy requiring intermediate to upper intermediate skill level. I would recommend a full syspension with good grippy tires. A little sidewall protection would be a good idea for this area as well because there is no shortage of sharp rocks on the trails.
In this video I am riding a 2017 Specialized Camber 29er with Sram GX 1X11 drivetrain, Maxxis Minion DHR II 2.3 EXO in front, Specialized Ground Control Grid Gripton 2.3 in the rear.
