Cale was raised up right, him taking the cup to see his Nana and take pictures with her...just class. Everything this young man does is just spot on. So glad as a Denver native and of course Av's fan that we have this future Hall of Famer on our squad!

Rangers fan here, nothing but respect for the kid, outstanding on and off the ice. The way his nan is involved and how he is with her is just the purest thing i've seen in a long time. True athlete, true talent, true human.

@@marie2274 It would be really cool if they got to play together. in hockey it happens all the time for brothers to play together on the same team/line. The Canucks had twins playing for them at one time and they always played together. The Nordiques had a full line of brothers at one time.

My brother in law text me a few days ago and said, “I just saw Cale Makar drinking a slurpee out of the cup.” I told him, he’s just a baby leave him alone! Love the video can’t wait for game one! Let’s go Avs!

The NHL may have it's faults, like all sports. However, the players and the league as a whole exhibit pure class - man I love this sport! Thanks to Cale and the entire team for all you do. Each one of these cup celly videos brings tears to my eyes because they show how each player shares the glory and love for the sport in a genuine fashion.

Agree 💯. It's always about where they came from, their families and friends that supported to this point. It's rare to see a hockey player spends tons of unnecessary money to celebrate unlike NFL and NBA players. It's literally just a family get together with some exclusive hardware ☺️

Every player and coach on the squad gets a day when they win the Cup. Also, even after the final game, the two squads shake hands, respecting the battle they just shared. Two of the greatest traditions in sport.

@@stefan1132 I was towards the end of the lineup so they were rushing to squeeze everyone in to get a picture. Didn't get a chance to say much. Just congrats on winning the cup and thanking him for sharing it with the community.

What a remarkable young fella..parents top-notch raising Cale..A++....grandma enjoyed her time...she'll be talking with the other seniors over tea and cookies for awhile...you sure could tell how proud dad was..moms smile said it all...you enjoyed your day real well Cale...the Slurpee and breakfast classic...well done congratulations...just gotta get my leafs 1 of those cups...lol

Cale is an incredible young man. Talented as all get out but humble, respectful, extremely well rounded as an individual. Excellent role model and member of his community. The Avs are incredibly lucky to have him.

I live 5 mins away from this rink, and I am there at least 5 times a week. Crazy to see Makar grew up like I did too, and to be so nice and bring a relic of history to my communities rink. Not to mention, I also go to that Circle K a ton with my friends, the community feels as if Jesus himself has touched it.

i am a blues fan through and through. but, i loved watching cale makar play this year. he is one of my favorite players in the NHL. talented is an understatement. his class is phenomenal. he is literally my age and has achieved so much in hockey! i have watched this video so many times; it makes me smile so much. congratulations to the avs and makar! ❤💙🤍
