We're getting closer to finishing the foundation footers for our geo-thermal greenhouse build. Just a couple of tools to make to have on hand for our footer concrete pour coming up. Also, celebrating the 4th of July this week!

Thanks for the update. And Happy 4th to you all too. I was on a destroyer during the Cuban Missile Crisis over 60 years ago as part of the blockade keeping Russian ships from delivering nuclear payloads, so this day, among others, is special to me, and hopefully all Americans.

I've built hundreds of geodesic domes for home owners in the mountains....if your foundation is perfect your wall construction will go very easy...if not you will be doing a lot of drinking...LOL

One way t o make sure there is no air pockets in the concrete is to use a vibrator to make the concrete stronger. Or at least no gaps.

Shouldn't the foundation be in the ground below the frost line to avoid frost heave?

yes, you can see in the video there's a 4 foot pit, which will get back filled.

👍 Nice jig. Yep, anything you skimp on now, you'll regret later, that escape pod is gonna' be cool. Sad, celebrating the 4th was made null and void with the "Above The Law Monarch" ruling I'm afraid... literally!
