Welcome to our Mid-century styled home! Thanks for watching our cheerful and colorful video featuring pretty vintage Pyrex, milk glass, adorable Japan ceramic figurines and planters displayed in our DINING ROOM and KITCHEN for SPRING with relaxing music!
We've always enjoyed thrifting and antiquing for vintage and MCM furniture, lighting, kitchen items, and fabulous accessories to use and decorate our home since 2005. Our home is constantly changing as we find more fun vintage items at antique and thrift stores in MN and WI. We look forward to reading your comments. We are very GRATEFUL for your kind support!

Love your tours Peggy. Norm I hope your recovery phase is almost at an end. The tablecloth is so pretty. That clock with the scroll around it was exactly like one I had. Got it 1976, don't have anymore. I bought a cute angel with a mandolin this week at a thrift for $2.50 and when I got her home and took off the price sticker she had a Lefton sticker. No wonder I liked her. Take care ❤

Peggy have you by chance seen the varied colored milk glass collection of Lauren Sakalarios. It is stunning. I saw it in the spring addition of the Cottage journal. I think i may have also seen small bits of it on pintrist. It made me think of the pretty clever ways you use your milk glass. To the tablecloth critic i say BOO to you. Norm is feeling better today, but he needed to try and cut some of our lawn on Saturday, which really made his incision area sore again. It's been raining a lot, and the grass is growing fast. Norm, sometimes it just takes a bit of time to recover. If you try to rush it, you might get a bigger hernia (as my ex did…looked like an alien living in his stomach area). Peggy, you did an amazing job arranging that milk glass wall! So pretty. Just thinking that viewer has probably come to expect perfection from you and was possibly in shock that you had not ironed that tablecloth.😅. I was relieved to see it wrinkled and to know you really are just human like the majority of us! I was feeling exhausted lately and the doctor did blood work and determined, along with other symptoms, that my thyroid is not performing correctly. You do so much that you should be tired. I get tired just watching all you do.😅. Those chicken planters are so cute!🥰 Such a beautiful, cheerful kitchen!

Hi Mary! Thank you for watching another video and writing your kind message! Norm had a twisted colon for more than a year, with several ER and hospital stays last year. So he finally had quite a bit of colon removed a year ago at the end of March. So he's been trying to heal from that with lifting restrictions for a while. But by last fall, he was doing yard work and got a hernia because of the former surgery weakening his abdominal muscles. The surgeon didn't want to operate there again so soon, so he's dealt with that pain all winter into spring. He finally was able to have it repaired this March 25th. It's been a rough, painful time for him to heal it. It bled for weeks and got infected, too. He's been so frustrated not being able to do much around here without causing more pain. 🫤 Thank you for asking and your kind concern.❤️ We wish you a very blessed May.🌸🌼🌸
