I just tried it. I used Just for Men for years. 3 quick points. 1) the foam is much easier use than the Just for Men liquid which was very messy and hard to apply. 2) the Simpler brush is the BIG WINNER. Genius design. Its sturdy and works in the foam very easily. The brush tip helps detail painting the hairline. One time, Just for Men had a small tiny brush which got product all over my hands and covered so little area. Simpler's brush design is perfect in size and firmness. Not cheap feeling. Lastly, 3) oddly no skin staining. I was amazed there was no dye on my skin after my first shower. With Just for Men it would take at least 3 showers to get the dye off my skin. Now just a few comments, not negative at all. 1) there is a slight smell. Nothing like Just for Men which was super strong. Simpler does have a little chemically smell but totally expected. Some who say there is no smell may have less sensitive noses. 2) on your first try expect some missed patches. I didnt noticed until i showered. But no worries. Just quickly apply a 2nd application to the missed areas. Unlike Just for Men which is a "one and done" bottle of dye, with Simpler its a can of foam and you can use a little or alot anytime as long as the bottle is not empty. Hope this helps! I like it! Very smartly designed!

Looks great for how simple it is ,, just a thought if your hair is normally that length comb/brush it in with the grain as it were you'll most likely need/use a little less and make the bottle last a tiny bit longer ,,,,,if you're still using this a year later of course 😊

I've tried colouring my grey hair in the past using Just For Men and it looked awful. Ended up shaving it all off to the skin. Not sure I'd try this product as I'm happy to be grey. But it looks great on you. Have to say though I prefer you with the grey hair.

Thanks for the video!! I just received my SIMPLER order today. I'm eager to color my grey facial hair and what's left of my scalp hair. JFM products have always caused some degree of allergic reaction for me. I'm then driven to uncontrollable scratching--sometimes to the point of waking to blood on my pillowcase. I eventually learned taking antihistamines a day or so before (and after) JFM helps decrease the severity of my allergic reaction. I suspect it's the PPD that I'm severely allergic to. I'm hopeful SIMPLER is the answer I've been looking for!

Another advantage of Simpler is that you can touch up and retouch as needed if there is still product in the can. Unlike with Just For Men which is 'one and done'. Heres an example... after a week of coloring w Simpler, I noticed some areas I missed. I just foamed up the brush again and did a little touch up. Looked much better. Thats a huge advantage over Just for Men in my opinion.

I'm not sure. Maybe I'll try this. I'm starting to get gray. I usually let my hair grow a little longer, because it blends better naturally with the brown. My hair looks more gray whenever I get it cut. So you might want to consider that approach rather than get such short hair cuts.

I’m 63 and for years I used Just For Men with great results. Then they went to a “New Improved Formula” which burned my face. I had bubbles filled with fluids, like a burn. I stopped using it and went natural. Then I lost some weight and wanted to look younger. Have been using mascara for my goat T. I just order SIMPLER and will see the results. It’s not suppose to burn. I like your results bro!

I honestly thought you looked pretty good with the single coverage but the final, final result is great too. I just ordered Simpler and am thinking of gradually working up to fully colored hair (by maybe only leaving it in for a shorter amount of time than recommended the first time) so it's not so jarring for those who know me and how my hair looks.

Always apply to the most gray areas first.

It doesn't have ammonia or ppd but it does have hydrogen peroxide. You can find dyes that do not use all three.

It looked great! Looking at a more recent video I see you went back to gray (which looks good too) but may I ask why you didn't stay with the brown? Was it too difficult to keep up the coloring maintenance?

Thanks for the tip but listen do I have to use the brush that comes with the kit because I don't have any hair on my head so i didn't require a lot so can I use the dispenser and put it on a flat surface and use the brush that came with Just For Men to put it in my beard and my beard isn't long I keep it close so what is your recommendation for my situation? Ps/ I've clean the brush that I use with Just For Men with alcohol and dish detergent to remove all the chemicals from the brush so it won't mingle with your product so do you think that's a good idea as well?

I’m 35 and have been dying my hair for almost 10 years, and can tell you that $50 is a rip off. I get ion cream hair dye and the developer for like 14 bucks. The only difference is that you have to mix it yourself - evenly, or close to it. I just guesstimate and it always works. It has stained my skin a little bit, but only because I’m lazy and rushing through. Depending on the amount of hair you can use it more than once. I have relatively short hair and can get 3 or 4 uses out of it. Because of the convenience of the product I’d pay $25 tops, but not $50.

After reading positive reviews I decided to give it a try. I tried permanment dark brown. In my opinion this product is horrible. Mediocre coverage of gray with nowhere close to dark brown. I like the idea of this dye on one bottle, but on the other try only white developer was coming out when the actual color stoped coming out. Brush is plastic and not good at all for going around ears. Waste of money. Going back to Loreal Paris Men Expert.
