I could sit and color all day! Glitter gel pens are my favorite medium. I’ve discovered that when I want to blend my colors, I use a q-tip to kind of blend out the harsh edge that can sometime show.

now this is a kicker for me. I don't know, I guess you like what you like. it's strange (maybe i'm a strange person! lol!) but the thing is, flowers, and animals are not really my favorite thing to color. that is why I love Colorit mandelas only. now if the mandelas have flowers in the design, i'll color it. but picture of just flowers? uh no. maybe, i'm not really a flower person. don't get me wrong, flowers are beautiful but, not for me. I like a design to grab me by the eyes. a design that is unusual and unique. I love that about Colorit mandelas designs. I got Mandela II on standby i'm going to buy next.

but now I notice when I blend colors (I use Raeon glitter pens but I will be trying colorit pens soon) I have to be quick in blending because the color dries in seconds. but the results are marvelous! I love to color. I can't seem to get enough of this! (thanks a lot, Interiors department! you all started something with me when yall gave me that first coloring book! lol. I have become a coloring fool!! lol!)

I got the book from Colorit. I think it's called "Dogs, Man's Best Friend". The entire book is dogs. You can also purchase it from Amazon. Their books are pricey, but they are worth it. They use a heavy weight proprietary paper and are spiral bound at the top.

Thank you for sharing a great video Deb! I appreciate so much the blending in this video. I finished a peacock earlier this year with colored pencils and beginning to branch out into gel pens. Gel pens were so confusing to me early on. There seemed to be no control and very little room for fixing errors. I’ll be getting some of these pens soon though and look forward to following your videos. Blessings to you!

I got the glitter, metelic,& Neons! I'm currently going to be getting the glitter set next month. This is the first time ever coloring with gel pens. Does anyone have any suggestions of where and how I should start my coloring journey. I am using this method for my PTSD, & Anxiety disorder. Hi, very beautiful work. I’m only sort of just starting out, so one thing I would find useful is if every time you pick up a different pen, even for just a second, you say or just have the writing appear on top what exact pen, brand, number you’re using. You did do that for the first bit and that was really good but then sort of dropped and I have no idea what brand or colour number those larger white pens are. I also find the background music a little distracting. Also, when you’re doing something like the first eye bit of the tail, because it’s fairly important and it is something that I’d have to repeat with every feather (so it’s used a lot in the drawing), could you please just stop when you have one feather (for example) totally completed and zoom right in on it for a second or two. Cos you can pause and zoom on KZfaq. You did mention the colour pen you were using and the number etc appeared on the screen some of the time, which was fantastic. But if you did that every time u pick up a different pen, even if it’s only for a second, if you could do that and show the name and number of the pen, that (for me anyway) would make it better. Otherwise, I think it’s an absolutely beautiful drawing and you are very talented. I liked your joke btw too. It was very cool. Thank you for posting this ❤️

Hi Do you also get traces of the ballpoint pen in the areas you paint? I can paint with black but still see white traces of where I painted still.. not sure if it's my pens or if that's what it's supposed to do.

Hello my name is Hal and I am a disabled vet and sometimes I shake a lot with my hands. So I have these unwanted pen marks with gel pens and it really messes up my picture and I was wondering if there is any tips or tricks you can help me with. I am doing an elephant right now and one of my pens smeared so it's a mess. I tried white out but sometimes it just doesn't work. Please help if you can thanks Hal (USN/RET/DAV)

0le Fart Gaming and Whatever - Hal, I don't have any tips for the shaking of your hand...but...one thing you might want to try so as to not smear as much is this: if you are right handed, start on the left side of the page and work to the right. If you are left handed reverse that and start on the right and work your way to to the left. Your hand won't be getting into the ink as much that way. If you are smearing simply because of your hand shaking, I wish I had a tip for that, but I don't.
