She had started smoking behind my back and trying new things with people she met at college. She stopped contact with me, making every excuse to not talk to me or ignore my messages. A little story: I've been listening to this song for like weeks then I met this guy who's insecure, depressed, suicidal, traumatized and lost all the colors of life and he's dying. He has a few more years to live because of a heart problem. He told me to stay away from him but I insisted for hours because I want him to be happy even for a short period of time. He said I made him the happiest person after a long time. He opened himself again and it's so delicate because I don't want to hurt him after showing his vulnerability and his genuine love. I listened to this song again and then it dawned upon me and now it hits different. (He snapped me while I was writing this.. omg 😭)

My brother battled with deppression, drugs, anxiety and dellusional behavior for years. Sent this song to me littlw before blowing his head off and now listemed this again for a long time and i understamd so much more.. I had same problems but got family and kids that gave me strentgh to understand that i got to wanna heal first for myself, after that for love ones... He died at age 26, remember u are never alone, and i dont mean anything religional. We all have energies and knowledge from far beyond understanding that makes us one big united unity over all bad. Life can be amazing but after all kind of shit it just takes that u have to understand that u need to do uncomfortable things to make pass all the negativity in your life. And understand that ur pass cant make ur present. I mean whatever u have been trough just leave it there and focus on future because no matter how much or long u allow ur past make ur present reality. There is no change to let you pretend be positive in future if u let ur past descripe who you are. Tell yourseld NOW how u wanna feel and live. My opinion: this song is about a teenager who is in love with someone way older than them themselves, but the person they love can be an officer, teacher maybe just someone better and bigger and went through alot of hardwork to be a sucessfull person . The teenager wanted to love them and also wanted to grow up succesfully just like them. But it was too much color mixed all in one , and by color i meant feelings . when she said "you were red , and you liked me because i was blue...." She meant the older person who liked her was red, by red she meant a wayyyy different person who is just bigger and better then her, and she said she herself was blue , meaning she is wayyy different who is just younger and smaller in life , "and you decided purple was just wasnt for you.." she meant red mixed blue is purple, so it meant like the older person that liked her decided that he is not gonna give his love to her, even though her young partner had left her. so this means that adolesence should be more careful with who they choose because you may feel like in a different world if your with someone older and bigger than you in life. thanks for giving ur time to read this! share your opinions

Bringing me back to summer of 2016 I graduated from high school. Went to California to soak up the sun in LA, San Diego and Palm Springs. I was 18 then and filled with so many dreams. I'm 22 now and just graduated from uni during a pandemic. It's amazing how life goes by this fast and sometimes I just want to put that trip on repeat because it was my last moments of freedom and youth before entering the serious adult world of "figuring it out and making a name for yourself" I'm just grateful to be alive and here and reflecting on those beautiful memories
