So what’s the correct story? It’s always shown in other shows that Bhagwan Krishna killed Narakasur. But here it shows that Devi Kamakhya killed him. Which one is the correct story?

It's nowhere mentioned in our religious texts that Devī Kāmākhyā killed Narakāsura. It was Śrī Kṛṣṇa who killed Narakāsura...!! Devī Satyabhāmā also aided him in this. All stories shown in this show are completely wrong... basically this show worked just bc'z of Pooja's acting & nothing else... writers distorted the original stories and gave their own version!!

@@demogorgonfrIn Upanishads there is a story where all the Devas thought they killed all Asuras but then Parvati or Uma appeared and she destroyed egos of all Devas and all the Devas realised by her powers they defeated all the Asuras. So she is energy and energy is everything so we are just vehicle of her. You can read Shaktism scriptures to understand these deep concepts.

You cannot destroy or create anything without Shakti. Shakti is the prime source of every activity. Shaki is energy in physical dimension. Krishna bhagwan killed Narkasur but with the help of shakti’s creation. Shakti is everywhere. She is the source. That is why before Shri Krishna was born Shakti maa in the form of Maa Yogmaya appeared infront of Kansa to warn him against his ill deeds. According to Vishnu Purana “Yogamaya is regarded to be the embodiment of either the internal or the external potency of Vishnu, or his avatar of Krishna, in Vaishnavism. The goddess, also referred to as Vaishnavi Mahamaya, assumes a number of manifestations like Durga, Ambika, Kshemada, and Bhadrakali”. She is the infinitely powerfull Adhiparashakti Jagadhambika.Jai Maa Kali🙏

The story goes like Narakasur was king of Pragjyotishpur, he did immense pennace to please maa Kamakhya. When Maa appeared in front of him, he was mesmerized by her beauty, and on an instant he wished to marry Maa Kamakhya. But Maa Kamakhya, gave him an task to create way to her temple in one night, by the rooster's coo, than only she'll fulfill his wish. He started to do his work so that he can win Maa Kamakhya. When Maa saw that he was almost done with the task she gave him, Maa on instant commanded a rooster to coo untimely, due to which the task of preparing the way to the temple remained incomplete, and this was the reason of Narakasur to torture women. That path which narakasur prepared is still here in Guwahati, and the place is known as Mekhela Ujua Path. Inscriptions are still found on the way.
