Okay, you sold me. Like others, I thought this was something I really didn't want but the larger pieces you showed actually makes it look more convenient to play at the table and the expansions look interesting. I'll keep my smaller version for travel. Thank you for the video!

I love everything except the HUGE size. I think it should be 50% smaller to help taking it to places. But everything is really beautiful and the first player token is everything

Seems like the original deluxe edition can now be considered the travel friendly one ;)

The only thing that's actually new is the inserts for the board, so all one would need to do is photocopy their existing insert cards and move numbers around in an image editor, right?

This is is a great idea, but I'd much rather have had this in a midsized box rather than full Ticket to Ride size.

Yes, everything from the original game is included here, just 4x larger.

Are the cards the exact same material as the original? Or more like playing cards?

I think it depends on the meaning of "original." I think they updated the finish to be linen in later printings of the deluxe edition. My understanding is Colossal has that improvement plus a white birder around the cards.
