Doing the darker shade first makes sense to me, rather than starting with the lightest, really enjoying the video.

Thank you. Yeah you will get a smoother blend going darkest to lightest. I only colour the opposite way if I need to layer 😁

You're the first left handed colourist I've found! I wish all colouring books were spiral bound at the top to make us 'lefties' life a bit easier! x I'm going to grab my little fold up desk , my prismacolors and Kerby's book and follow your colouralong whilst watching 'Call The Midwife' x

I smile to myself when I see I’m a year behind, but when I get this book delivered this week, these sneakers will be my first pages. Thank you again for doing the tutorials in this book with your excellent teaching techniques. By the time I finish the book I’ll be 2 years behind😂😂Oh well, we might even be out of lockdown then 😊😊👏👏

I was thinking that Kerby’s book are so intricate that I first need to improve my colouring skills before I order this book. I have been watching all your tutorials and hope to improve enough to tackle on of his gorgeous pics in this book.

I can't wait to get this book. I was going to pass on it bc as much as I love Kerby's work it scares me. But the more I see of this book I need it lol. So I've decided to push myself and I'm starting a Beta fish in Colormorphia for my friends' hashtag on IG. It will be a good challenge for me

Oh yes I agree, you need it 😂 my tip with Kerby’s just pick one aspect of the picture at a time to focus on and follow his shadows. Dive in and it’ll feel less daunting. Would love to see your finished fish 🐠

Hi Jan it’s actually a make up brush from a set I never used. It’s the Sigma Fan F90, so soft so it doesn’t make any smudges on the page. But I think any make up brush will do the job 😊
