This time last year at Colour Conference 2017 in Sydney, we got the chance to honour our wives! It was a pretty special moment, so much so, that we thought we’d share it.
So to all those who stay at home and keep things strong, while championing on your other half... we also honour you too.
"Their fruit is your fruit also" Pastor Bobbie Houston
Psalm 68:11-12 New King James Version (NKJV)
11 The Lord gave the word;
Great was the company of those who proclaimed it:
12 “Kings of armies flee, they flee,
And she who remains at home divides the spoil.
Thanks to our Pastor Bobbie Houston for helping arrange this special moment for our wives, and letting us be a part of Colour Conference.

Man I love this. I always love to hear the stories of courtship that lead to healthy marriages. Such humanity and openness here. Big sacrifice by the wives here for sure.

What a beautiful tribute to the wives!!! The scripture quoted by Bobbi is Isaiah 68, but there is no Isaiah 68. Isaiah ends with chapter 66. Maybe I misunderstood. Can someone clarify where the verses are that she quotes. Thank you! Love Hillsong United so very much!

No diversity at all. Sorry I'm in my feelings, when I was in college I used to attend a campus ministry and I became a part of the worship team as a vocalist. During my time there I felt alone, it was predominantly mad up of caucasians. The leaders wives were very clicky and stayed to their own or they would talk to the worship leaders. It was really sad to see how small-minded they were and very clicky. And they definitely showed favoritism. I just hope and pray that things like this are not happening within the Hillsong United.

Liberalism is a Cult wow calling me Satan, may the Lord forgive you. I went to a school in North Dakota and at the time I was there it the students were not at all exposed to people like me or other cultures, so I was treated differently. It's funny I recently spoke to one the the leaders that used to lead worship and she was asking me how they could interact with other people of different nationality. So sir this is something I personally went through and I was just praying and hoping that it isn't like that with them. Have a good day.

Well i'm white however if I walked into a church with mostly white people in the church but The city town or neighborhood was diverse I would be wondering why the church wasn't diverse also you see I go to a church with all nationalities and all races and we have churches across the globe and yes I have been to churches were its typically only one race and that is racism! I do find that your name calling only shows what is in your heart so it might be wise of you to pray about it and see if you need to repent because what you said sir definitely don't sound right :/ just sayin.....

Liberalism is a Cult how do you know if she doesn't tell black churches that they need diversity? You've looked at all the black church videos and all the black church links on every search website and you have found that she hasn't posted one comment about it and you have heard every word that's come out of her mouth in person and you know for a fact that she has never said anyone that black churches need diversity? I thought only God could do that and I'm not quite sure if that's what you meant but if so you need to "check yourself before you wreck yourself" "because God don't play that mess" mmmmm mmmmm mmmmm

Evete Nagbe i'm sorry he was so mean to you at the judgment seat this scene will play before him and God and God will talk with him and ask him a few things and he will have to give his answer to God but whatever answer he gives will mean nothing to God if he chooses not to repent and I really do hope that hillsong has or will have diversity but if not they will have to answer to God as well diversity really does break the wall between people and it shines the light on the truth and that is Jesus The truth of Jesus that he came and he died and rose from the dead so that whosoever believeth in him should not parish but have everlasting life you see at the cross were all at the same level because were all just sinners in desperate need of a Savior By the way you did a fabulous excellent job responding to this man God will have a conversation with you too at the judgment seat but I believe there will be no accusations against you but only the simple words from Jesus himself "well done thou good and faithful servant"

Evete Nagbe 1. You must have gone to the campus where a lot of people in the community ARE white. Not all campuses are like that. Sorry you felt the way you did. 2. Keep in mind that a lot of these people are very shy. Which you wouldn't have known initially. But you have to think about the other side of he coin as well. Not everyone who keeps to themselves are clicky or racist. I'm thinking you're probably a bit of an introvert as well, you probably wont necessarily talk to people first but appreciate it when people actually approach you. If you say hi to them they would have talked to you. They probably won't invite you to their house to hang out because let's be honest they're not your buddies. I'm Asian. I have white friends and black friends. But I'm also an introvert so i wouldn't necessarily just go up to someone and have a chat and be best mates. 3. These people or rather their husbands get mobbed by fans. So of course they're a bit wary cause they're unsure of what people will do. I was a student in the college. Predominantly white. I saw one of the singers standing by the elevator which happens to be next to the student kitchen where my friends were so i started sprinting to the direction of the kitchen. Guess how the singer reacted. Yes. Stiffened up cause he thought i was running towards him. Now, i felt insecure about the lack of diversity, I'd say he was being racist. But he wasn't. I think people in general, not you in particular, gets so busy about thinking that 'diversity' is a requirement in all places that they forget to look at the community they're in in general and see things from that point of view. A most of the people in China are Chinese - Asian. I won't go to their smaller towns and say there is no diversity and therefore it's bad. It's just that there's not a lot of people of other races in the small town compared to the big metropolitan cities. And its the same in Australia there are just towns and suburbs that has less diversity than others. Have i experienced racism? Yes. But not as much as people who were already expecting it. I would encourage you, if you find yourself in a less diverse environment again. Be confident because you are a child of God. But don't let little or no diversity stop you from being who you are. I visited a part of Australia that didn't have a lot of Asians. And yes, people stared at me and weren't sure how to talk to me until i talked to them and they figured out i can speak English. And i assure you these same people who stared at me will also get stared at if they go to China. Guess why? 4. Cliques exists everywhere. And in the real world people who are more forward, outspoken and extroverted will get noticed first. Not the more quiet types. Of course the ideal is that there is no cliques anywhere but that won't be a reality. You'll have to go to a very small church for there not to be cliques. Even then, there will be a few existing ones. They're just not as obvious. Which is why you're encouraged to be in a connect group and lead one. There will always be people you just click with and others you don't and that's ok.
