@@jeanboi6683 yes u can.. u need to cover it with foundation in powder / liquid form or at least a compact with good coverage. Use a light layer that will help. 😊

It's so nice to see that this channel focuses on more natural makeup that enhances your natural facial features! Glam makeup is beautiful but not really suitable for daily wear. Trends are moving more and more towards natural dewy makeup, and more people are being aware of undertones (your channel played a big part in that btw) which is always a nice thing, especially for beginners who don't want to look too weird at their first attempts

@@binkao2938 michelle phan, wayne goss and alexandra anele. snitchery is snitchery. hyram is not a makeup artist. He gives advice on skincare. But he isn't an expert. For skincare, you can watch shireen idris, lab muffin beauty or dr dray (always watch dr drays videos with 1.5× / 1.75× speed with subtitles on). Hyram learns from these people (he has said himself) and gives advice to others. But his explanation is not always detailed. So it's actually a matter of preference if you want a detailed explanation of skincare or just the surface.

I used to hate watching KZfaq tutorials on make up cause they always used to either recommend expensive products or talk a lot, or use to make me feel self conscious. I had never even realized that darker and lighter skin shades would need different brightness of color corrector, this is really informative. I personally just use red under my eyes and around my mouth, I've noticed that other Indians do this too

This is the first video that came up when I looked up colour correction (because I want to buy a palette to try it) and I’m so glad it was 👏 ! So informative but still concise! Also doesn’t go on about loads of expensive products to buy. I especially love that you also showed darker skin tones AND brought in models to demonstrate beyond your own skin tone ❤️. It’s rare to see brown skin tutorials on KZfaq unless the creator is brown themselves. This is great and really helpful to actually see what it should look like👏

I know colour theory, but never thought about using colour correction. I think it might be less stressful for the skin than heavy foundation or concealer (I’m only preparing myself to start using make up, so I don’t know much about how products affect the skin). @@katarinatica9452 aaah, i see. i myself look pretty greenish at times, so i definitely understand, lol. im not an expert by any means, but I've always noticed 'sickly' tones usually look fine if you correct main problem areas (around eyes and mouth maybe..?) and find a blush that really (really) fits your skin tone. think more wine-red, mature tones---applied subtly and sparingly---instead of pink, for example. embracing your skin color, instead of trying to smother it, usually works great if you know what other colors suit you! wear olive, brown, gold, and red tones, they'll liven you up and complement your natural color. i know this wasn't the answer you were seeking, but i hope it helps either way!
