I saw them at London's Desertfest past April. Just about an hour gig, 5 songs... But it was one of the best experience I have had in front of a music band. They have something else... something so special that can teleport your mind to other places, better places.

Came here after listening to Samsara Blues Experiment ....and this is just as good as that.This sort of music kicks a.. instead of the mainstream pop/rock stuff many people are listening to nowadays...
@goncalobrasio47557 жыл бұрын
The Samsara's "long distance trip" album is pretty awesome, i could put it in the same level as some of colour haze's work
@pantherax17 жыл бұрын
nop really not, dont take it wrong, colour haze started this, is an legendary stoner rock band, now they run a label company, samsara blues come after colour haze maybe they got inspired by this guys, anyway samsara is a cool and good band but they also mix the style of jam bands like earthless, causa sui and colour haze and the result is samsara blues experiment, most song of colour haze doesnt follow the format of causa sui or earthless they mostly write songs of 3 to 10 or more minutes

I got here after listening to a few Earthless shows and I have to say this band kicks ass. Love the changes in tempo and intensity. Some songs rip while others groove and others focus on the melody. Oh and that drummer! WTF! Nice to see rock is alive and well!!

Songs from their self titled album fuck yes. That's the best thing they've done...and it is a classic album. All their other stuff is wonderful, but the self titled?? That's magical

I always wondered, where does that perpetual "click" tone comes from when Stephen Koglek hits a note ? It's also present on the albums, it sounds like some wood block percussion... Does he also hits the neck with his pick or something. That little stuff always amazes me when I listen to their music.
@thewarden76396 жыл бұрын
Manuel Delsol Think its just the way he picks the strings.
@bitchpilled2 ай бұрын
I noticed this too. It's his pickups. They have something about them where it makes that sound. Someone could probably explain better than me, but that's why.

This wasn't an official release, just for TV, they considered to do a DVD but the band wasn't totally happy with the sound quality (mix). The original video is here www1.wdr.de/mediathek/video/sendungen/rockpalast/video-colour-haze-100.html You can buy a live record with the same setlist plus another songs at itunes itunes.apple.com/us/album/burg-herzberg-festival-18-juli-2008/id402226571
