I was 15 in mid 70s and I somehow came across Ball Power Heavy Metal Kid and Summer Jam lps.Wore the grooves out on them.God was on the Summer Jam and i literally blew my speakers up.Met Lobby in the 90s.He talked a lot quieter than his guitar.Very down to earth guy R.I.P.

Were you a sharpie ?
@alanthorne39213 жыл бұрын
The sharpie movement had sought of died out by the mid 70s I suppose.It was a Melbourne(Victoria) thing and I was in Tasmania and I was too young.However when punk hit I got a sharpie cut(rats tails) which was at odds with the punk short back n sides.

HA - I was about the same age then when I discovered the COLOURED BALLS. Have a safe and nice day. CHEERS from AUSTRALIA.

First heard this very recently on a video on YT about sharpies. This is bloody amazing! They sound like early 70s Hawkwind without the psychedelic sounds and with Victor Griffin from Pentagram on lead guitar ripping out solos! That's what they sound like to my ear anywayz. I'm going to be exploring this hidden gem of an artist in much more depth. Much admiration from one of yer bloody Pom cousins.🇬🇧

Love to Lobby and to original poster Greg/PapaLordGod. Both gone now but loved and missed. They both changed the way I hear music in huge ways.

Guitars are so noisy and the chords are dissonant that at different moments this sounds like the Goo and Dirty era Sonic Youth.
