True colour/grayscale images of the Sun captured with a spectroheliograph. Due to breezy conditions some images are slightly out-of-round.
The sunspot group assigned AR3664 visible south of the centre of the Sun was responsible for a coronal mass ejection from 7-9 May. It reached Earth on 11 May and produced spectacular aurorae.
