I was in awe of the spectacular ever-changing Pacific Northwest scenery that I saw from my private balcony as we cruised on the Snake and Columbia Rivers aboard the American Song. Watching the landscape transform from high dessert plains to lush coastal rainforests was a sight to behold that is permanently etched in my memory.
The 8-day Lewis & Clark cruise set sail from Clarkston, WA and went through 8 locks with a total of 567 miles traveled to Portland, OR.

Everyday a new adventure unfolded in a different port of call. We participated in engaging guided shore excursions visiting Pendleton, Multnomah Falls, Mount St. Helens, Bonneville Dam, The Dalles, Fort Clatsop, Astoria and more.
There was never a dull moment on land or water - from enrichment activities including watercolor classes, cooking demonstrations and historic lectures, to live entertainment and nightly cocktail parties.
