Crikey! We were on our own as students in the 70's.We went to college and got smarter. More open minded, educated. These kids are going to school and getting dumber.

Seems like the ‘educated’ part failed you. This generation is not as blind as mine or previous generations. My grandfather served our country, and he related how no one knew the extent of the death camps until they got there. This is that, and we know in real time. We don’t have to wait months or years. We have the internet and we know in real time. I am proud of these students. I’m a GenX and my generation was too soft on government. We questioned very little. We were the children of Boomers and we were born from their privilege until 9/11. So, after we had information at our fingertips, our sense of our world and reality changed. But, we were able to ease into that. These kids never had that. The they were born in constant war, forest fires that last forever, pandemics, and racial tensions like we haven’t seen since the 60s. They’re standing for children, and civilians. They’re standing against an obvious genocide. Anyone who says this isn’t genocide is choosing to be ignorant. It was horrible what happened on Oct 7, when 1200 lives were taken. But, how is that the fault of the people of Gaza? They’re not Hamas. They have not had elections since the early 2000s. Nearly 29 years ago. Yoav Gallant said they’re fighting humans animals, but all I see is constant bombing in the night of women and children. They’re bombing civilians. No one should be ok w that. So, these kids certainly beat you on compassion and empathy.

Wow. How hateful a comment. Lawyers don’t ask leading questions. 🤦🏽‍♀️ Please, understand what terms mean before using them. This is would always tell my my kids when they were like 8 or 9 years old. Now, they know better at 13 and 17. I don’t know how old you are. Maybe you’re a kid who watches a lot of law and order and has conflated the meaning. A yes or no question is NOT a leading question. It’s a direct examination question. 😂 She is making questions directly related to actual, factual, documented events. Don’t let your bigotry miss the message.

Im not a fan of ilhan omar but her questions were spot on. This has nothing to do with anti semitism. Well done to these students for highlighting who controls America. No1 can say anything agains Israel!
