So thankful I live in a country with the best military on earth.
@russellwilliams43173 жыл бұрын
Best military on earth? We have amazing tech and do indeed have aspiring soldiers climbing the ranks, but we no longer have an 'experienced' military. Anyone with experience left during and after the Iraq war, due to leadership and unnecessary deaths. Which left new recruits lacking the 'pass-it-on' experience they would have gained from Iraq war veterans. After every war, experienced soldiers would stay and train new recruits and the cycle would repeat, hence 'pass-it-on'. We are lacking that and the distrust with military leadership has utterly destroyed confidence. So, no not the best anymore. 10 years ago, yes.

Most likely just for that, you only need harnesses to keep you tucked in, quicker access as well. I think it's not usually needed other than for training exercises and such either. "The vast majority of the time I leave the doors open because 1) it is cooler in hot weather, 2) it is impressive to the passengers and I am a stuck up prima donna, and 3) I like the view."
@jacobsherven41754 жыл бұрын
It's to try and stay cool. It gets hot AF in those choppers otherwise.
