This battling looks so cool. I would like to do it, but I dont have any clue how to build a tank in that game.

With the Search&Destroy DLC building a tank, ship, copter or plane for combat is easier than Scrap Mechanic.

@@SumPatti the engine and drive system is a little harder since have to pipe cooling, fuel, air, exhaust, and power. The guns are a lot easier.

In stormworks thinks like engines dont just connesct to seats and bearing. You have to run piping for fuel, air, cooling, exhause. As well as math and logic to manage engine idling etc.

My current tank mounts the artillery cannon. And is a superheavy tank with automatic targeting via radar.

How about modeling your tanks after your most modern Scrap Mechanic tanks? With the design of the SM tanks, Al would be using a modern, yet iconic design which resembles the German Leopard tanks. A larger turret in proportion with the tank may permit improved storage capacity. Behind the pilot's compartment, there can be ammo boxes, behind that, on a rack, some supplies. Unrelated to the overall design, you can implement some ERA skirts. That would be cool. This vehicle's armor is pretty light, so some ERA would do wonders. The SM design would look even more beautiful in SW.

That was actually originally on the tank, but removed. It didn't work reliably.

I have stabilizers, I just didn't add one. Didn't think I'd need one with how well mouse aiming was working during my first tests...

@@AlMagmaGaming In my opinion they're life savers with movement. P.s. you should use a velocity pivot instead of a robotic pivot.

It acts like a normal pivot but you can adjust turn speed and do a full 360

But my mouse system uses robotic pivots. Only having 180° was worth the improved mouse aim...

I really just stopped enjoying KZfaq. After Scrap Mechanic updates broke the game I tried transitioning to other game, but started loosing interest. Eventually just got to a point I didn't want to make content. And in the odd occasion I did get the energy, I would make a video to a fraction of the views. And now my interests lay elsewhere. I still have an interest in content creation, but gameplay and creation showcases aren't it anymore.

@@AlMagmaGaming oh, I remember watching you alot back in 2020 or so and just remembered when one of your old videos popped up. Sorry to hear that, I get what you mean with losing interest in your primary game and content creation altogether. I don't really know your situation so I can't comment, but I hope that whatever you decide to do next works out well for you!

Cannons are extremely inaccurate right now. So battles past 500meters are hard. I had a system to make them better, but it was broken by an update...

It also seems like alot of people making tanks, are making them realistic. 3+ crew members to make them work. So, getting 6 people together to do battles is hard.
