Hello. Yes that is a good point and a good recommendation. I have found that, generally speaking, animators want to place the mixamo character in the scene as quickly as possible, therefore the tutorial addresses that need.

I would suggest you export each f-modified animation as an fbx, then bring them back into blender and run through the tutorial to combine them, then loop the final animation.

Hello. I’m glad you like the video. To achieve what you want, all you have to do is go to Mixamo.com and download the animations you need, then place all the animations together following the tutorial.

It depends on what you are trying to do. I generally export all of it as an fbx by selecting everything than I go file-export-fbx.

Once all the animations have all been added together, you can place the character in any location in the scene. Make sure you are at the beginning of the timeline and select the bone that sticks up from the character's head. That should select all the bones, and you can place the character wherever you like.

Hello. Make sure you use select the entire character when you go through the process. If its not working on the perspective view, select everything in the scene collection view on the right. Also the animations that work best are those in a straight line or in the same place. Hello. What you need is a plugin called Animation Layers. This will allow you to bake the animation and export it as fbx.

When you import the mixamo animations, place them in the center of blender at 0,0,0 and see if that works. You will have a lot of animations on top of each other, but it could work.

Make sure all the bones are properly selected then run the process.

Hello. Not sure why that is happening. Try deleting the last keyframe of the first animation, then the first keyframe of the following animation to see if it fixes the problem.

Try this: go to the graph editor, select the hips and delete all the rotation keys. Then back to the timeline again and run the tutorial.

The key frames to copy/paste are from the main timeline only.

Thats because each animation has a different start and end point. It can be fixed and I show you how in the tutorial.

First go to the graph editor, then find the mixamo hips. Click on the little arrow and you should find the Z location (mixamo hips). Mixamo uses the z location coordinates, which is how high up or down the character is from the center, to control character animation parameters in the graph editor.
