war mal wieder nur ein One Hit Wonder von Hopp. War natürlich weltklasse das Match aber Hopp spielt (noch) nicht konstant genug um dauerhaft "Oben" bei den TOP Spielern mitzuspielen. In der nächsten Runde hat er gegen Jenkins mit einem 84 avg. 2-6 verloren. Das meine ich !!!

@@Destruction-1990 Jeder, der irgendeine Form von Training macht, kennt das. Man wird ja nicht kontinuierlich besser, im Sinne von: jeden Monat steigt mein Average um 3 Punkte. Wenn Erfolg und Misserfolg eine Schwingung sind, würde ich sagen: die Peaks klettern langsam nach oben und die Tiefphasen werden kürzer und seltener. Darum geht es. Ist letztlich egal, wie es in der nächsten Runde lief, weil der 119er Average ein absolutes Hammerergebnis für so ein Match war. Die Hochs werden höher und dauern länger an. Stück für Stück.

Ganz schlecht gealtert der Kommentar, Hopp sowieso, der Möchtegern-Experte. 😌

Eine positive Entwicklung hat er sicher gemacht, aber ob er jemals ein ganz "Großer" wie sie sagen wird, wage ich zu bezweifeln. Wenn dann wird es noch einige Jahre dauern. Er haut zwischendurch mal super weltklasse Matches raus aber eben nicht konstant genug. Meine natürlich nicht konstant über 110 avg. das schafft keiner. Aber konstant in der Nähe des 100er Bereichs. Er spielt zu oft zwischendurch avergages unter 90 und verliert dann in Turnieren meistens wieder die nächste Runde. In dem Fall verlor er auch das nächste Match gegen Jenkins mit 84 avg. So kann man keine Turniere gewinnen. Bin aber gespannt wie er sich bei der WM im Dezemeber macht

If you practice for hours you develop a little kick that helps you swing around easily. I never noticed until I had started doing it naturally, then I realized most darts players do it.

T P I’ve been watching darts for 30 years but in all those years, the thousands of tournaments and millions of people that watch it, I think I’m the only person to ever observe it

das ist ein Phänomen, das bei vielen Spielern auftritt, die Spieler sind einfach weniger von der Athmosphäre beeinflusst und können sich besser fokussieren, deswegen gibt es öfters auch mal Avg jenseits der 110 und manche Spieler, die auf der Bühne kein Land sehen, spielen auf einmal konstante 100er Avg. Natürlich ist die Auswirkung ohne Zuschauer zu spielen stark Typ Abhängig. Bei Max ist es mir ehrlich gesagt noch nicht so stark aufgefallen.

Thats not true. In this tournament you can see that darts player like Max Hopp can show their real talent and skill. Moreover it is boring to see MvG in every final of the european tour 🙄 (Not every single but the most)

irrelevant tournament ?? you have no idea !! sure for the TOP 10 players the floor tournaments are not very imporant but they still have to play some tournaments to get qualified for Players Championship Finals (Major Event) in November. And it´s ranking money you get their, so the 30 Players Championship events are very important for nearly every player. But I know what you mean, it´s irrelevant for you to watch these events right ?? I like these Players Championship events at the weekends.

@@Destruction-1990 irrelevant because there's no drama, no audience, and the fact they give 10k to the winner makes things easier for low ranked players (in order to climb up the order of merit). It's too easy for the top players, on the other hand, to stack earnings by playing all these tournaments.
