I’ll fill you in, it went like this. Injustice 2-Honeybee Vs Sonic evo 2017 was dope. Dragon won 1st evo, Aquaman, everyone hated it, Dragon is very good NRS player since MKX, still. Rewind Vs Tweedy evo 2018 finals, Rewind won, but both players are top tier, since late MKX Kombat cups and still are. Meanwhile Ninjakiller was making a name for himself taking names in MKX while Injustice 2 was the main game. Mk 11 this was a mixed game, even among pro level players. Some found it boring, I did so I didn’t follow to much I do know prominent names going into MK1 tho Sonicfox, Scorpionprocs and Nicolas (the twins in the video), Ninjakilla, Rewind,Tweedy, Tekken Master, Dragon, Scar, Foxy Grandpa, Full Auto, Han Rashid, and maybe Honeybee n Semji 🤷🏻‍♀ lol there’s an online scene too, but these are names that still show up on multiple new NRS game entries n majors. Although since MK11 was mixed some lost interest in it so it’s hard to say, evo 2023 might show us who’s regained interest. That’s why I got two in the maybe

Did not expect gambler to be run through like that. Scorpionprocs got hit by gamblers d4. Many subs go right into f4. Many top players try to fb this f4, not easy but doable. Scorpionprocs recognized the distance gambler was from the corner and realized he could just punish it with 12. I’ve never seen someone make gambler whiff quite like Scorpionprocs Evo is going to be absolutely insane.

Anybody else think sooneo went for the wrong loadouts fighting kabal. Bro was really tryna take him out of the air and his loadout was set up for that, CR cannon, LA9, and the air shoulder charge which he didnt use at all, He was banking on his reactions to him jumping and his anti airs, but when that didnt work he switched off the grenade that would hit kabal in the air and went to chevel trap which damages you on the ground for a character that doesnt saty on the ground and when he did get a hit bro would always break away. He had no way of getting consitent damage and his reactions were not good enough to take him out of the air. What he should have ran was FT, TS, and LA9, flame thrower for a quick and consistent 200+ damage output, terminal strip for the mix up option and low auto 9 because its that good. every single time he went into neutral within terminal strip range should have been a command grab and i understand that he would start jumping more but thats what conditioning is for even kotal cant get any grabs off if you dont scare them enough to sit there. If yall disagree let me know, we can discuss this but i think he had the wrong kit for the job, if you want to take away someone air options you dont equip things that only hit on the ground, also CR cannon is not that good, i think he should have stuck with the CA cannon then he could have had flame thrower low auto 9 and the riot shield but instead he decided to equip the jay riot and didnt use it at all. Ive watched sooneo play for a minute and it works online but he didnt even attemot to use it here. I think he was just unprepared and happy to make top 8 he wasnt even trying to win is what it felt like.

@@Stanlos because thats what those characters like sindel and robocop realy are, so few moves that are virtualy impossible to punish and also cover almost every single situatuion. robo gets full screen from grab, mid command grab, mid into combo for full screen, and even projectiles that give full screen on block, sindel on the other hand barely cares about even spaincing her moves since she backflips on wiff so you can almost never punish them and so on.. you realy dont have to think much or have neutral/reads to win with them so braindead

It's a huge venue. There are probably three different tournaments happening at once. For example, if the top 8 of UMVC3 is happening at the same time as MK, most of the crowd will probably be over there making noise.
