interesting. what equipment are they playing on? Seems like one of those clone consoles or emulation?

Analogue Super NT was being used for stream. SNES/SFC are usually preferred, but would require a CRT and lots of AV equipment for stream. Super NT is a good alternative due to HDMI out and being consistent comparable to real hardware with FPGA. MiSTer is directly under super NT, accurate play thanks to FPGA, though it does have a sound bug on heavy kick and requires low delay set up for the game to play accurately to snes, sfc, or super NT.

@@QCCBigZam btw congrats on your victory and I appreciate the response! I did research and the Super NT looks great but seems to be out of production and super expensive at the moment :( Aside from PC emulators, what do you think of the Retron 2 HD for home setup for casual Sailor moon, tournament fighters, SF, MK1/2? Any experience with the device?

@@cyborgdokey2650Whatever you can use to play is fine. Boston’s scene used to use SNES Minis for a while. As long as you’re playing and having fun. SNES/SFC, Super NT, and Mister are gonna be your most accurate experiences. But the main goal is to play the game.

I don't know much about this game, but i feell like a lot of people won't be interested in playing it after that lame ass finals... Why didn't they ban the invincible backdash timeout strat? I dont care if its "almost frame perfect" or whatever... that's lame as hell and clearly unintended. It's like the most obvious ban ever???? I don't understand

You can cross it up. If you don’t know the counter play then it’s on you. On top of it being what lets the low damage gremlin be viable. I’ve got two videos on my channel; one explaining it and another explaining how to beat it if you need more insight. Also this is very much intended. The CPU will do multiple backdashes in a row like this.

I was laughing at the Chibimoon invincible backdashing lameout, so entertaining to me. I don't know much about the competitive scene other than all characters are essentially broken, which can make for good viewing.

@@QCCBigZam I don’t know if this is fair or not in this game, because I don’t know much about this game, but it looked extremely boring and uninteresting to the viewer. When you played for Pluto there was a good fight, with Chibimoon it looked disgusting

@@nikosempai its a 1 frame window to loop the dashes with full invincibility. not only does chibi deal piss poor damage, you can cross up the backdash as seen here 24:56. Zam’s KZfaq has two videos explaining the technique and how to beat it. this is one of the worst characters in the game. idk how productive it is to consider fairness lol

I’m happy to show Pluto off. But I’ve always been a Chibi main, so when it felt like Alz was catching on, I swapped back to my main. Gpbear already explained the stuff about Chibi, I have two videos on my channel that go over how it works and how to beat it.
