We are at Lisbon-Santa Apolonia terminal in Lisbon, Portugal, where we see Comboios de Portugal Class 1400 switcher 1408 as it drills a set of Corail coaches that just came in on an Intercidades train from Porto. These coaches will get shifted over to another track, so that the Class 5600 electric motor that brought them in can go to the yard. During switching, we see a set of 2240 Class EMU as they leave the station, as well as an Alfa Pendular set arriving on Track 1 from Port. 1408 was built in 1967 by English Electric and is powered by an English Electric 8CSVT.
