The Spear Cuts Through Water was my favorite book from last year!! It’s so beautifully written and woven together, I really hope you like it!

I’m watching this video after a week of being very sick and naturally out of routine which tends to really disorientate me. I’ve been struggling to get back to feeling more normal but this video has immediately sent me back to my books which is such a great help. Thank you!

I was just at McNally Jackson on Sunday. Made this visit to my son's a book shopping trip. Also went to Brooklyn and hit up some stores over there. I bought so many books I had to mail them home😂

I definitely need to check that McNally Jackson bookstore location out the next time I’m in NewYork. The one I went to I didn’t care for that much. It was small and had more notebooks and things like that.

I also have gotten parable of the talents recently since have had a goal of reading a Butler each year since i read Sower 3 years ago. The Xenogenesis trilogy was so amazing so do recommend!

aah i just went to nyc for the first time a couple weeks ago and wish i could have gone to all the bookstores!! definitely want to check out that McNally next time. also the haul gave me cozy sleepover vibes and i loved it 💖

I've read The Old Woman with the Knife, it is interesting, the protagonist is unusual and I would say the synopsis that it's less of a thriller and more of a study on how aging is perceived is appropriate. I love The Strand, I hadn't heard of the other bookstores, so next time I'm in NYC I'll check those out!

lol that McNally location is my favorite as well, it was the best study spot in university! that's funny y'all think its so big -- I hope you get to the strand, although there are stores bigger than them both all over the boroughs, I hope yall find them next time!
