I dont know if casting Arya was the best decision. if he's shown as a downtrodden character which is historically shunned(a common theme in all Pa Ranjith movies), then Arya was not the right person for that...Perhaps someone like Vishal would have been a much better fit, lean mean, vulnerable looking man.

Oh man... the characters built by PA Ranjith. One of the movies where you love the villain, the hero, the heroine, Daddy aka Comedian and then the Masters. Exceptional movie characterization and choreography. Even the spectators in most of the sparing bouts created lot of emotions. Extraordinary movie.

Crap movie.basics of boxing gone for a toss and shamelessly claim it as North madras boxing culture. this is either degrading north madras or degrading boxing as a whole. Pa.ranjith is either showing north madras in bad light just to rake in some money or exposing the reality of north madras if he considers his work as real and genuine . Anywhichways Pa.ranjith uses North madras for his selfish ulterior motive.
