The first thing I thought of when you picked up the wire light fixture was…if you had a smaller dress form you could add it to the bottom (like a skirt) and have it on a long metal rod. You might even have one if you’ve taken a lamp apart. Too cute! Of course, I may have thought of it too because of the wire shoe you found before that. You find some of the neatest stuff in Michigan. I see a lot there that I want that you never touch…lol! So jealous!! The Rae Dunn pieces where I live are starting to go out of style. People are either in love with them or over them. The same with buffalo check. Isn’t it funny how that happens…

I am so glad that I ran across your programs on KZfaq! I’m not able to get out and walk a whole lot cause I have a really bad back but boy do I enjoy shopping with you. You take me places I’d never get to go. I’m a widow and I’m afraid to get out very much by myself but it sure would make me happy if you lived closer I’m in Kokomo Indiana. The metal tray that had the water ring you put back, you could’ve put burlap on half of it making a pocket and put florals in it. That would’ve been great for your spring decor! Just burlap and a hanger!

I love it when you and Debbi shop till you drop. You fit in visiting every shop you can and don't give up. You just never know what you are going to find. Wishing your mom well. Happy to see she squeezed in some thrifting. I wish I lived in the USA, you guys have such amazing thrift shops and malls. We don't have that in Germany. It's very different. It is fun to watch you shop. Please show us your shop decorated with all your finds. Debbie found some cool stuff, she also has an eye. The sheep at the end was great fun. Sooo very proud to hear your Mom had a day out thrifting! Go Sherry's Mom! I don't understand why Goodwill stores feel the need to set such high prices on soo many of their items.... at one time Goodwill stores was an excellent, economical place to buy clothes dishes, what Nots or whatever... we used to make regular trips to Goodwill....now we seek out more thrift stores run by churches and local charitable organizations....finding great deals. ❤❤

I have stopped going to Goodwill because Im supposed to enjoy thrifting, not getting angry. They are trying to punish resellers and in the process punish people who can’t afford buying. But here in California, I would go to Ross and their prices are better than our Goodwill. I go to Acts and Do Unto Other Christian thrift stores.

@@lifeasweknowit8798 You expect a store with the name of GoodWill to be exactly that. They are already making nearly 100% profit on donated items. One would assume their purpose is to give the rest of us a good bargain whether we are a reseller or not. It's not a bargain if the price is the same or more than a sale price at a regular retail store.oh yeah, they have to pay employees. I could be wrong about it in current times, but the government used to pay half the wages of employees on disability. So that makes their profits on freely donated items pretty good for Goodwill if that's how it still is.

I have a cleaning hack for you, cloth pillows that are dirty you can clean them with regular foam shaving cream and a damp microfiber cloth and then blot them with a dry microfiber cloth. Spay the fabric with shaving cream let it sit on the fabric for a couple minutes take the damp microfiber cloth and in a circular movement start rubbing the shaving cream into the fabric then rinse the microfiber cloth wring the water out and continue removing the shaving cream after you’re satisfied that it’s clean take the dry microfiber cloth and blot the fabric to remove as much dampness as you can let it air dry good as new and it smells amazing.
