I'm currently staying at my brother's apartment walking distance from House of Secrets I find it funny the one day I didn't walk in to visit you showed up there also check out the secret Wars comic I sent you it includes a cool crossover story inside that features Avengers versus Attack on Titan

My country doesn’t have shops that sell mangas, so normally if I have to buy, I have to order online. Seeing you shopping in bookstores, browsing shelves to select manga brings so much joy >v

Same here, we only have some small manga/comicbook shops in the very big cities but that's it. There are some websites but the problem is its mostly in French and I'm not fluent in French :c. I have a hard time finding Manga in English like amazon is the only website.

as an australian, i'm so envious of americans having barnes and noble, every store just looks so massive in general and a great place to get lost in. i do love the book stores we have of course but they're tiny compared to these stores kfdgjfd especially the manga sections are always so huge. the main book store i go to has like two bookshelves of manga usually, not full length either, about 5'6 in height. love watching people shop for manga though!! looks so fun.

oh man! I hope you get some bigger bookstores near you eventually! I will so LA and NY are a bit special and im probably super spoiled here vs various parts of the US in terms of just sheer store(s) counts Glad you enjoyed the video :)

@@BoogieSnacks yeah, barnes&noble locations are unfortunately very hit or miss! I've got a few amazing locations within 2 hours of me in wisconsin but I've also been to some really crappy ones out of state. which is a shame since in my experience other chains like half price books carry next to nothing for manga (found half of blood on the tracks at one once but otherwise it's mostly older stuff that's been forgotten for good reason). my local comic book store has a shelf with some good selections but mostly sticking to the absolute most popular series. I really hope stores like the better barnes&noble locations become more widespread some day! that doesn't seem farfetched to me since reading books and manga has become a much more popular pastime recently and all my local stores are packed most days.

Where I live doesn’t sell manga so watching you get lots makes me happy. Even is the shops around me did sell manga I wouldn’t have the money to buy any. All the manga I have I got online (Tokyo ghoul vol 1-9, black butler, demon slayer and death note vol 1)

I was at my local Barnes and Noble every day during the BOGO sale! One of the clerks is a good friend of mine and she always brings out the cart just in case if theres any new ones that she see.

It's really weird that some comic bookshops don't sell manga, I sometimes have the feeling that saved a lot of them in my country. I almost exclusively shop my manga at my local comic bookshop and avoid the big bookstore chains. And sometimes I even pick up a western comic

TBH not every state here in the US is like California in terms of the sheer amount of shops so make sure to do some research on where you wanna go! Ofc i'll be taking you everywhere on the channel - but still LOL Happy shopping!

The idea behind the first barnes and noble is rly cool. I have one in my area that turned into a barnes and noble but also a college merch store too. Love that we can repurpose old buildings like that personally. Also Michelle is hilarious.

I got all of Colorless, volume 4 of Asadora, volumes 4 and 5 of MHA Vigilantes, and a One-Shot done by Oshimi Shuzo called Sweet Poolside. Very happy about all of these pickups! Also love your vids. (I was also the one spamming Made in Abyss on ur manga shopping live. Sorry😅)

Ill be reading volume 13 of dont toy with me miss nagatoro volumes 3,4 of undead unluck and volume 1 of eden zero . Also ill be starting the demonslayer manga boxset this weekend . And i got volume's 5,6,7,8,9,10 of undead unluck , volume's 2,3,4 of eden zero ordered plus a neko robin stand figure otw .

I'm so sad because there are only three big manga stores in my country:( (Sweden, Science Fiction Bookstore) and the closest one to me is 2 hours away so I can only go on special occasions. The only other places you can find manga (if you're lucky) are in some thrift stores but those are always very old and in Swedish (I prefer reading in english). But at least I can order online as well:)

I enjoy these shopping vlogs. I can't really go Manga shopping here in the Netherlands (maybe in big cities, like Amsterdam, Rotterdam, etc, at the other side of the country for me.) But I don't complain. I feel privileged enough being able to by all the manga I want online. I order a lot of manga online from a private comic/manga store in Rotterdam. One day, I will travel and visit them in person.
