Your shop does very clean installations. Several people do not know how much time it takes to do a high quality install. I used to do Audiomobile, Zapco and Alpine hidden installs in the late '70s.

I just bought those Hertz today, Hertz esk 165.5 and Hertz ecx 165.5 coax, for my Kenwood DDX9905S.

I can relate to double checking wires. I bought a rear speaker harness that was supposed to make life easy, but turns out the neg/pos was backwards, so after hooking up all my speakers and putting door trim back, my rears were out of phase! So whoever put that harness together....gonna say they were havin a bad day or half asleep!

Something ive noticed is you tend to use the same side bullet or spade conectors when you put them in the middle of wires it might be an idea to alternat male and female for positive and negitive so if say a door panel has to come of for a window motor the person repalceing it dosent screw up the polarity

I wish I saw this before my install. I put the high energy in front and the energy in the back. All I here is the rear tweeter. High energy have clearer midrange and the energy have better mid base. One day I will disconnect the tweeters in the rear and see how it sounds.

Where should I set the high pass filter on 6.5 inch speakers? I have a 10 inch Rockford Punch P1S2 powered by an Alpine MRV-M250 to fill in the lower frequencies, all four speakers are 6.5" Infinity Kappa coaxials powered by a Pioneer GM-D8604.

I'm in the market for a reasonably-priced component upgrade for my Jetta (currently running JBL GTO). I like a smooth, laid back tweeter and accurate midrange that isn't harsh or in my face all the time. Out of the three of these which would you recommend? -Hertz Cento Pro 6.5 -Hertz Energy 6.5 -Morel Maximo 6.5

Would you rather run 4 DCX 165.3 or 4 Alpine S65’s. I know the DCX’s are more efficient but 20 less watts than the S65’s. I calculated it out and the DCX will give you about 110dB and the S65 will give you about 107dB. Pretty much wondering which is going to have better sound while being cranked up from your experience. Thank you!

I called to have a amp & processor installed for my high’s & whoever answered the phone was EXTREMELY RUDE & quoted $1800 to bypass the factory amp and install aftermarket amp & processor - guess I’ll do it myself

I'm having issues with my 2017 dodge charger with alpine system. I can't take the head unit out. I got four 6x9 mille pro coaxial with a mille pro 4 channel amp. The lc7i is what I had but the highs were too high. The installer tried summing the lc7i or something. Now my system sounds like crap. Now they want to sell my the hertz h8 processor. Please help on what I should do. I also have a 10 inch jl7 and jl rd 1000 amp. Please help

I Wish you guys were local because I bought and paid a lot of money for a Complete system Install for my 2014 Challenger and I never received the Level of Care and technical Craftsmanship that you do each and every day . I have since traded it in for a 2017 Challenger. It has the Hamaon Kardon System in it .Don't get me wrong it sounds good but not Great . I miss the sound I had with my old Challenger which Had a Pioneer Head unit and the Hertz 4 channel Amp and Component 6.5 and 6.5 coaxial in the rear . I removed the system when I traded in the car . I would like to incorporate the amp and speakers in my new car but not sure how to do it . Please give any advice on what I need to buy or do.Please don't say take it to the Installer because he is hard to work out a time to do it, no saturdays etc. TIA

I can’t make up my mind , I don’t know if the extra 300 is worth spending on the MLK Mille legend 165.3 over the MPK Mille PRO 165.3 . Or the ENERGY 165 set . I’m also finding it very difficult to find a 5ch Amp that will put out 150 watts RMS x4 @ 4 ohms for the Mille legend 165.3 and have 500 or more watts rms for one 12” sub . I don’t wanna run more then one amp . Anyone have input ?????????

great videos... question about installing a lp7-2 lineout. I know there is a left and a right audio input. is it safe to tag just 1 speaker if using for 1 sub or do I need to actually run wires to 2 speakers ( ex. rear left and right instead of just 1 )? also, using a meter to adjust the gain on the lp7-2. it says to play a test tone. where or what do I use for that? do you usually have the level up or down all the way or middle for a safe setting? thanks

That car is evil to try to work with if you want more power or more speaker control but still want to retain factory controls. It really is a nuisance. The PAC pro adapter works, but it's a bit cludgy because the stock amp has to stay connected and the connection is also after the stock Sony DSP, so you are restricted in exactly how good your source audio can ever be without connecting directly to either your amp or an aftermarket DSP and losing out on many stock controls. A shame.
