Come over, Invite _ over, Ask __ over and Have ___ over are phrasal verbs commonly used by native English speakers in day to day life. For instance, native speakers instead of saying "He came to my house" will usually say "He came over." Instead of saying "Relatives are coming to my place tomorrow" native speakers say " I'm having some family over tomorrow." You will be able to use all these phrases after watching this lesson.

Sir,Can we use 'my friends'in between the words come and over .To my knowledge when we use Phrasal verbs we have to use pronouns.my friends -them

We don't use anything in between come and over. Eg : My friends came over. They came over.

"Go to home" is not idiomatic in English. In such cases, we use "go home" without the preposition "to." However, when inviting someone to a location, it's customary to use the preposition "to," as in "I invited him to our home." So, while "go to home" is not correct, "I invited him to our home" is grammatically accurate and commonly used.

හොඳ ප්‍රශ්නයක්. මෙහෙමයි. මේ විදියට සුපිරි ඉංග්‍රීසි කතා කරන අයත් ලංකාවෙ ඉන්නවා. එයාලා ඉංග්‍රීසි ඉහලින්ම පුලුවන් අය. එහෙම අය සාපේක්ෂව අඩුයි තමයි. මේ විදියට ලංකාවෙ ගොඩක් අය කතා නොකරන්න හේතුව ඉංග්‍රීසි දැනුම අඩුකම. වෙනම classes තියනවනෙ Spoken English වලට. ඒවයෙන් ඉගෙන ගන්න තියෙන්නෙ මේ දේවල් තමයි. සමහර වෙලාවට අපිත් එක්ක ඉංග්‍රීසියෙන් කතා කරන්න එන ලංකාවෙ කෙනෙක් අපි කියන මීට වඩා ටිකක් සරල දෙයක් උනත් නොදැන ඉන්න ඉඩ තියනවා එයාගෙ ඉංග්‍රීසි මට්ටම අඩු නිසා. ඒ වෙලාවට අපිට එයාට තේරෙන ඉංග්‍රීසි භාෂාවෙන් ඒක කියන්න සිද්ද වෙන්න ඉඩ තියනවා. ඒත් මේ දේවල් දැනන් ඉන්නවා නම් ඕනම ඉංග්‍රීසි පුලුවන් බැරි ඕනම කෙනෙක් එක්ක සහ සුද්දෙක් එක්ක උනත් කතා කරන්න සහ එයාල කියන දේවල් තේරුම් ගන්න පුලුවන් වෙනවා.

Present Continuous (Ing Form) අපි භාවිතා කරනවා දැනටමත් plan කරලා තියන අනාගතේ දේවල් ගැන කියන්න. එක වාක්‍යයක්වත් වැරදි නෑ.

කළමනාකාරවරයා ඔයාට office එකට එන්න කිව්වා. (මේ දැන් ටිකකට කලින් නම් එන්න කියලා තියෙන්නෙ, ඒ කීවෙ "කලමනාකාරවරයා ඔයාට office එකට එන්න කියනවා" කියන අර්ථයෙන් අපිට කියන්න පුලුවන් - The manager wants you in the office.
