I wouldn't go so far as "masterpiece." I mean, look at Anthony Perkins's speech to Vivian Leigh in "Psycho" from 1960...I've watched entire movies that aren't that unnerving. But I think it's worth a watch. From the library, anyway. Free :) They don't write scripts that well, or have anywhere near as brilliant a score as Bernard Hermann (Psycho). Please watch it from the beginning. Library has that one (or can get it for you, too)

If Focus Features were to directly draw upon ('plagiarize', if the term would applicable) SCP Foundation materiel? Especially upon one of the "core" SCPs (096)? Non-copyrighted or not, you can be 100% certain that it would bring down the wrath of the entire SCP Foundation _(global)_ community upon them. And that is a needless and wasteful conflict that nobody wants or needs, not even as a faux-controversy for "free" publicity for this film. - d.) All that being said, I would love to see an full-on SCP Foundation theatrical film. For me, had I Disney-level backing, I would do a trilogy film-series for *[SCP-1730 - What Happened to Site-13?].* Why a trilogy? Because the tale for SCP-1730 is so epic in scope, it would need more than one film to fully tell its multi-tiered & -angled tale of crawling horror, desperate survival, and heroic action.
