The woman who collected all those amazing pieces through her life time had a true love for collecting. She must of had some increadable party's at her home. That was amazing. My mother has a large collection of Bjorn Winblad pottery. (The blue and white statues with the 3D faces) as well as many other Rosenthal pieces.

I loved seeing you on Jocelyn’s live from Ohio. I follow several of the people in that group, and it was delightful to see you all together. I wish I could go to the PDX sale. I live in Eugene, but will be celebrating all things UO Ducks all weekend with my son’s family. At 66, I am at the point where buying new/old treasures isn’t going to happen (we’re trying to downsize for a future move to a retirement community) but I love to join all of the You Tubers on their hunts for treasures! I have learned so much, especially from CLL. Good luck at your sale, and I’ll keep enjoying your videos when you get them put online.

this is literally what my grandparents house looked like and I am so upset I couldn't keep so much of the amazing MCM items and that I didn't appreciate the extensive collections they had because I was 16 years old when we cleared out their home:(

OMG. Thank You. Thank You. Thank you for this video. The Estate Sale was everything. I was so thrilled to see several items in the sale that I currently own. I didn't buy them because I knew what they were or who made them...just because I liked them. I've been feeling the pressure to get rid of some of my collection, but now I'm motivated to keep most of it or at least the pieces that I really like. Your video reaffirmed that for me. Oh good lord! I live in Florida and we have some pretty epic estate sales here, but I have never seen anything like this! The art, the furniture and wall units, the pottery, the glass, and all that Pendleton fabric.. I’m drooling! And was that a rack of vintage clothing too 😭 The anxiety I would have if I was there, I would lose my mind…I can only imagine what the turnout will be!!

By the way - loved seeing you with Fat Bird Finds, Real Nifty Vintage, winking Owl Antiques, the Crazy Lamp Lady etc - what a fun bunch and you were very much the “star “ of the group. That collection of Mid Century Modern really took me back to my children neighbourhood in Toronto, Ca. Friends of my parents who lived across the street's home was totally in that style. I can close eyes and visualize it still. Best of luck with your flea market sale.

I love going to estate sales! I had stopped going because I felt my house was getting too full of collections. But if they are displayed with care they shouldn’t look bad. I would have been friends with these collectors. Good job highloghting the different collections

I collect Rosenthal Wiinblad and I am overwhelmed with the collection! Thank you Laura for sharing this with us! A bit sad I live in the Southeast! I was at one amazing eclectic sale a few years back in Dunnellon, Fl. The woman was the daughter of a famous artist and I still drool over the large scope of MCM collectables and her fun clothing and accessories! This sale however is amazing!

AMAZING! 😍 I just bought a bunch of art and pottery through a similar (slightly smaller) estate auction and when I went to pick it up, I felt the spirit of the woman who left those treasures behind. Hi. The “faces” are Danish “Bjørn Wiinblad”, they are very collectible in Denmark, and at the moment back “in fashion” :) Think most of us Danes grew up with Bjørn Wiinblad. :) Hi from Copenhagen.

I LOVE that you mentioned respecting the home owners/sellers and shoppers who may not wanting to be filmed. Although I do love watching yours and many other youtubers shop with me videos that is always in the back of my mind. I am a very high anxiety person and I would have a panic attack if someone was recording me on their videos. I also wish and have tried to record shopping but I haven’t recorded other people. Also I haven’t posted haha. But yea this estate sale is so cool and you are super sweet!

OMG!! I've never been to an estate sale but this one had me swooning! The red/chocolate Lion was probably extremely valuable! Loved the mid-century wall units- I loved EVERYTHING you showed us!! I wish I could go and to your flea market event too! I lived in Springfield, Ohio 2006-2008 on N. Limestone. Hopefully, you got a chance to visit Schuller's Bakery! It is THEE BEST bakery in Ohio! One of the most amazing & unique collections, I would have loved to see it in person. wow. Was it an estate sale open to the public, or collectors only? I wouldn't be surprised if someone wealthy bought the entire collection or large portions of it, just stunning, you are quite lucky!
