Here is a diy tip for you; if you have any black velvet ribbon you could add it to the top and bottom of the black lampshade. Also paint the odd shape lampshade black and add the black velvet ribbon to it. But keep the floral lampshade with the lamp with the large crystals. Pretty Princess 👑 ❤

I have the green lantern. When you add a candle, used a battery candle you will love it. The colors that come across the lanterns are just beautiful.

FYI you can take a lamp and take the cord out and put a cute bowl on top and make a birdbath, bird feeder and even add a solar light to have lighting outdoors. I got two lamps no shade that was from a neighbor for free. One I am going to use like a lamp post with solar lights. The other one I am going to find a cute bowl and make a bird bath and add a solar fountain pump so its also a fountain. Cute items you found. Thank you for sharing

you can make a bird bath out of lamp bases, glassware and glass pie pans in your choice of colors. her you tube channel is called MY LITTLE SLICE OF PARADISE. her creations are beautiful! the green lampshade came from PIER ONE. I bought a set of those years ago when I was into British Colonial. you got some really nice things!

I have two old doors hanging on my screened in porch acting as “weather breaks” to protect a solid wood bookcase/hutch from getting rained on and another protecting a chair so the cushions never get wet. They have six panes at the top so don’t block the view. The bookcase has been on the porch in rain, snow, etc. for about twenty years and is in perfect condition. They hang from the ceiling rafters with heavy chains and large eye hooks. I found both at the roadside! Free!

The little scroll metal piece was a cup and saucer holder. Loved that chair and ottoman, it could be beautiful.

I was at a Goodwill store the other day and a worker was slamming the picture frames. She was an unhappy employee. I love those 2 pictures in the black frames, I would have grabbed those if nothing else but for the frames, but I really liked the maidens on there. little wood bench was nice, would look great black Pedestal and a bowl is all you need for a birdbath that way you cam make it as you like BOTH mirrors, why not? 35 was a steal for that ornate one Lamp was a great find Canada and east coast usa has such great thrift stuff!!! The white cherubs at the second to last store would have looked cute in the garden. If you removed the lighting parts from the cherub lamp you could add a large bowl to the top and turn it into a bird bath, maybe painting the base all one color. Lots of other garden cherubs in the last store. Mirrors in the garden scare me. As kids, we used to use mirrors to reflect the sun to burn twigs and bugs. I'm afraid I'd catch my garden on fire with a mirror in it. The floral lampshade would look look great on a crystal lamp.

I love the shade and the lamp. As I get older I seem to drop or break so many things. Upsets me so. My car is full of stuff too my friend says I have the village people living in my car. We have a lot in common.

I have a hard time resisting special lamps (especially those with cherubs!). I've run out of space but I've started to take many of them apart and consolidate them into one taller lamp or plant stand--depending on the need. It ends up being a fun project and can at times be a challenging puzzle pulling certain pieces together, but in the end, it's totally worth it and you end up with one of kinds made up of bits you love. I thought for sure you would cave on the mirror--I don't think I could have resisted--mirrors are also a weakness for me 🙂 The Good Will (here in the states) has also gone out of control with their prices. I LOVE your videos!
