It's true She is indeed amazing and I am a close father of of course the old original fright nights I had both of them on video cassette and their original VHS boxes so I am partial to these So much so to the point where I may even be a bit biased when it comes to my opinions regarding such genres like vampire movies and horror movies I tend to tip the scales in fright night's favor but sexiest vampire that's got to go to Kate beckinsale

This movie has its own personality respect to the first part ( which is also brilliant). Perhaps Charlie's relationship with the female vampire, the atmosphere, the gang, and the music and of course, the director did this beautiful movie which some years later all of us are appreciating so much! Bravo!!

It was long time ago since I saw this movie... only watching scenes of this movie again after all these years made me realise that my ex looked like her... No wonder I was so depressed and suicidal for awhile after I broke up with her. For I know she was not right for me in the long run....

Without a doubt she was the best female vampire in a leading role.There was this pure,raw,untamed sexual nature on the screen that she put's off without even trying.Being beautiful and badass at the same time just has an aura about it.She definitely had a presence on the screen that i wish we could see again.Maybe one day we will...

I was 11 years old in 1988, but had both Fright Night films on VHS....Sometimes it seems not so long ago -- until you realize that 1988 was 32 years ago...That's a pretty significant span of time. It was a much different world then....

Tom Holland had a good idea for a sequel with Charlie as a single father who moves back into his old house, Evil Ed is still in Jerry's house and is trying to resurrect him. I hope one day either Tom or someone else will make it happen.

Diese Frau schaut ncht nur atemberaubend aus, Sie weiß auch wie kaum eine Andere sich mit so viel Klasse und Anmut zu begwegen, selbst wenn es nur darum geht, Ihren Kopf etwas zu neigen =) Besten 2 Vampirfilme mit super Effekten und sehr gelungen Charakteren!

Underworld = Good story potential, good effects (mostly for the werewolves) but bad inconsistencies leading to large amounts of ham. Twilight = Toilet True Blood = Don't give a shit. I couldn't even follow what was going on. They were all over the place last time I checked. Might as well be watching goddamned The Young and the Restless. Vampire Diaries = Don't give a shit cuz it's True Blood for yanks. I think there were talks of a part 3 but it fell through. :( Yes....Regine is the true Queen of the Undead.

I always wondered where she came from? Her "brother" Jerry was 1,000 years old when he was killed. I wish I knew how old she is. I originally thought they came from Spain but something also screams Italian to me. Possibly even Rome in Regine's case.

It would mean they both were turned around the ninth century A.D., during that time the Moors were ruling the Iberian Peninsula, but you can see from their mannerisms and attire they were both highborn aristocrats, yet it seems Regine embraced her dark fate while Jerry seemed somewhat reluctant to, hence telling Charlie 'you deserve to die boy, but I give you what I didn't have a choice.'

Your taste in music and selection of scenes for other people to enjoy were/are 100% effective. Thank you, Robert for the tribute to one of the very few sequels that did not suck. Fright Night was a tough act to follow. My only contention is that they tried to make part 2 a little too comedic. All in all - you did a lot with the video & music.......... THANK YOU.

I have to say I loved BOTH of these films and the music, I'm not going to go on about Regine (Julie Carman) I think it's been move than covered how Beautifully/Stunning she is. Quick Idea for a Fright Night 3 Sadly Roddy McDowall (Peter Vincent) has passed away so why not use William Ragsdale (Charley Brewster) to take his place and someone he knows ends up in a similar fate as he had? Just a thought!

I just noticed that the tag line on the cover for 'Fright Night 2' was "If you have a taste for terror..." - Which was the same as used for 'Carrie' in 1976 "If you have a taste for terror, you'll have a date with Carrie..."
