Thanks for the video. I will say that fakes have been around for yeaaarrrrssss. I think it’s just brought to light now because of social media. I’ve seen LV and Chanel fakes and know how to get them if I wanted (Asian community) since like the 1990s. So it’s nothing new at all. If it seems a lot maybe people are just more aware with educational videos on authentic vs fake versus before. I wouldn’t let fakes and replicas change my mind on purchasing a bag or not. If I like it, I will buy it. And the fakes are never the same as the real ones. If people can’t afford it and are happy with *esluxy* to each their own. My favorite bag is the classic flap. Next is the Kelly, then birkin. I know many Filipino aunties that have replicas to all. And it doesn’t change my mind on them. If you look at the Asian community NEARLY EVERY LUXURY BRAND bag has fakes, including business affinity and trendy

Just found 2 Gucci jackets on Vestiarie with amazing silk peacock lining for less than 250 euro each and they were basically in brand new condition. The thing is they were from men’s section, too small for most men but perfect for me :)

You should ALWAYS sanitize your second hand shoes! Alcohol, like someone mentioned earlier; antibacterial wipes etc. Let dry overnight and then I wipe the interior with peroxide the next day as well. Also, I look for new hardly worn shoes too. 🎉❤🤗

that feeling of being drawn to a vintage garment that reminds you of something like it that you had the first time around is so, so relatable your tip about only paying attention to prices on the resale sites for pieces that have actually SOLD is key, and especially important for people putting clothes up on the resale sites-a lot of times, price points are set too high and the clothes languish on there forever

I enjoyed this so much. Thank you for the subtitles. That was very considerate. The zigzag Missoni was popular at the same time bargello was! I used to go to sewing circles with my mom and we made bargello pillow covers. Good times! Wonderful memories. The ladies always made delicious things to eat.

Encouraging people to shop vintage is great Trinny Thanks , you can spray shoes first with sanitiser it obviously has alcohol in it or should if it’s proper, and let dry , alcohol will kill fungus , anywhere verrucas have come in contact with.

Omg I adore that Yves coat! What a find that truly was! Gorgeous neutral khaki & the shape & the cape are timeless… & so beautifully made, in France too, not Bulgaria as it is these days, I would imagine by the true Yves Saint Laurent artisans. I could not have walked away from that! The leopard shoes are literally everywhere you could pop down to any old Zara or hop into Depop & find the same… leopard is leopard & is far from special… but as they say in classics one man’s trash is another’s treasure!

Great video, but I'm not sold in the 2nd hand. The prices at still quite high. I rather buy new, with high discounts from last seasons. I do have 1 Lanvin 2nd hand belt though that i wear a lot.

Lovely collection! I bought my first LV when I was 25 years old. I only used that bag a few times, haha. Also, love your friends! I have an Eva clutch in the DE print and love the little chain. But I don't want to spend so much money now, I have *luxdups* bought the bag I want, it is as good as LV and is one of my favorite things. Durability

Fungus needs moisture so chances of catching anything from second hand shoes is minimal. The risk is probably the same as trying on new shoes.

I’m maybe the oddest one out, but I have never liked those classic Chanel bags. The roped gold chain …. Meh. The large logo …. Meh. BUT I will say, that mid size one is attractive. They just seem like awkward bags to wear without somehow looking gauche and or awkward. They seem a bit much for every day and not quite enough to be an evening bag. I dunno …. I guess I just don’t like them and I’m trying to rationalize it lol. You CAN disinfect shoes (alcohol, UV light, or even putting the shoes in the freezer overnight although this is not the best method for killing fungi), but the real issue for me is that unless the shoe has clearly not been worn enough to mould to the previous owners foot, it’s just bad for your feet and downstream, your back. You can, of course, put a new leather insole into them if the style and size of the shoe is amenable ….

Those are designer items though. I go to charity shops and vintage shops here in the UK, you can pick up amazing stuff for very reasonable prices. Got a leather blazer for £30, a denim shacket for £4, a sporty top for £16 (similar style in Free People was £80 brand new!). Lots of fun to be had. But as Trinny says you do need a bit of free time to filter through all the stuff!

As a famous celebrity person you know what i mean not like a real life person i just wondered do you find it difficult to take your children all over your work ? i just wondered how important it is for you to manage thier eduacation and friends childhood that sort of thing .do you want them to follow in your foosteps later in the famous tele person work place and then thier children after that ? or would you rather they had a normal happy life and possibly happy marriges without the need for celebrity ? i only ask since its quite popular these days to want some of the spot light and since your quite an important person i just thought it would be kind of ool to tell your millions of followers about life in fashion and how it can change your life . i think that would be great and even different from usual famous been things .

If you can't afford a designer bag and feel some type of way about expensive designer shit then DON'T FUCKING WATCH THE VIDEO. Like do ya'll even read the tittle of the videos before clicking on it? It clearly says in the tittle the video will be about designer bags. I find these types of videos very helpful even though I can't afford any of these bags yet, but I know one day I will. And I want to know which designer bag will be really worth my hard earn money and I will get the most use of. That being said, if you read this thank you for sharing this video with us ,please make more videos like this. Maybe *esluxy* next?
