Shelby I just don't think they get any sweeter than you you are such a nice person and I'm glad that I get to watch your channel. I had a wonderful mother's Day got lots of pretty flowers and nice gifts me and my daughter went out for dinner and later my son-in-law and my grandson came by. My daughter and I have always went by our service for our My daughter and I have always went by our selves is day dinner and birthdays. Hey Shelby and Bill! Happy Mother’s Day! I’m going to DT this week for some of the Shore Living decor. My daughter tried a recipe to make her own instant oatmeal mix, she said the recipe suggests putting one serving amounts in sealable sandwich bags, but she keeps hers in a big jar, shakes the jar before measuring a serving into a bowl. She measures one cup of oatmeal mix and stirs in 1/2 cup hot milk or water or more if it needs it and lets it set for a minute. The recipe calls for 4 cups quick oats, 1cup dried fruit, 1 cup toasted nuts if desired, 1/4 to 1/2 cup brown sugar (depending how sweet you want it), 1/4 tsp salt, 2 tsp cinnamon. She switches the dried fruit even the spices up depending on what she feels like.
