This video has been uploaded to the coach aram channel last week. As I said in my "let me explain" video, I am transferring the three most current videos to this channel, so that everything is found in one place. I do will keep the coach aram channel, though. Just in case somebody is trying to be silly again.
Matt is a well trained comeback athlete, who wants to compete in 2k races in the next months. He uploaded his footage to youtube and asked me to do a video analysis. Here it is.. very interesting, as it all looks very good. However, a second look reveals potential for efficiency improvement.

As a old, old (as in grandfather) rower I'm hoping the Randallfoils will help my oars from diving and will utilize a "Samba butt" to give me the correct posture. I need to improve myself for my grandchild.

This pivot (pun intended) is fantastic and makes me think that it could catapult your channel from niche’n’nerdy to mainstream (for rowing)! Do I have the guts to submit footage of our 2x or VIII?

Great analysis again Aram. A lot of my focus (Masters D (50) 1x) is on getting the heels down before squeezing the stroke - esp. to connect quads & glutes. I tend to be stuck on my toes & calves throughout the stroke if I apply work before heels down, particularly at high rate. You don't mention it, but from the way you draw the force vector to the knee, are you advising heels down? And thinking about taking the time to get my heels down helps me take the light catch you talk about.
