In the second leg of the U17 Bundesliga semi-final, regional champions RB Leipzig hosted Borussia Dortmund. After a draw in the first leg, the winner of this match would make it to the finale. Dortmund scored first, after a corner and even scored a second goal after a set piece. Once they scored a third goal, to go up 3-0, the match seemed to be over. However, the Red Bulls fought their way back into the match and scored two goals in additional time. But with time running out, Dortmund won 2-3 and secured the spot in the finale.
