Every plant dies in my care. I’ve even had “air plants” die. I did keep a bromeliad alive for 6 months but while in the process of moving I accidentally dropped it down the stairs. I once had tomatoes and they did fairly well outside but I forgot to water them for awhile and they died. Months and later after a decent storm the seeds from the fallen tomatoes got enough water to germinate and many plants started to grow. Part of the reason my plants die is because I am too easily distracted to remember to take care of them which is why I tried my hand with succulents. I lightly watered it every 2 weeks. I talked to it a lot too buying into the thought that talking to plants helps them grow. Maybe I bored it to death because as you all can see, I’ve always got a lot to say 🤣

The riffing off the crowd *is* ADHD. Instantly connecting random tidbits of information to multiple tangentially related thoughts? That's an ADHD trait and Drew uses it to the greatest comedic effect. I wouldn't be surprised if a disproportionate amount of the people going to Drew's events are ADHD--the thought process he jokes from is very relatable and it is true that ADHDers "attract" ADHDers simply through the vibes.

Plants consume the oxygen they make in order to break the sugars made during photosynthesis, so most of them create as much oxygen as they consume, not leaving any to the environment. @@tiagomoraes1510 It's scientifically supported that there is a genetic component to ADHD. But we have to be clear on our defenition here. If by ADHD you mean the diagnosis and the problems deriving from your brain working differently, then I agree, that's not genetic. However, the predisposition for getting those problems does have a significant genetic component. I personally see ADHD not as the problems that arise from it, but the way your brain works differently. So you can still have ADHD, even if you never run into any problems with it and therefore never get a diagnosis. I base this on the fact that these people still are on the same level as anyone that is diagnosed with ADHD, and their brains process information in the same non neurotypical way. I also don't see it as a disorder.

Our friend group consists of me, my two sisters, my friend, and my roommate's fiance are all ADHD, and my roommate has ASD. They often say listening to us all interact is like Sims on a sugar rush. But I'm convinced that ADHDers just emit some kind of brain signal that attracts other ADHDers

They said create oxygen "right away", yes plants make oxygen but it takes time. 'the snake plant is best known for producing the highest amount of oxygen among houseplants' It produces a lot of oxygen very quickly, a NASA clean air study found that if you were locked in a sealed room 6-8 snake plant could replenish all the oxygen you need Also, it can also produce oxygen at night, which not many plants can do Please look up your knowledge
