Joey Daymond is a comedian from New Zealand who has overcome difficult circumstances to pursue his dreams in the entertainment industry. He was previously homeless and lived in a car, but through his passion for comedy, he was able to turn his life around. He hopes to use his story as an inspiration for others who may be facing similar struggles, and to open doors for those who come from similar backgrounds as him.

When you guys talk about peaking too early especially in high school you guys are dead set on the money! I use to think about that all the time, i know soooo many people who use to be the man at high school and now they’re (respectfully) just ordinary blokes! And the ones who never got recognised during high school are now “the man” so to speak! It’s crazy that you guys talk about this and peaking too early cos I legit use to think about that all the time.

@@yktr_ yeah hundred that’s the field where I seen it the most! And like it’s not even that they cracked the big time, most of them were decent thru junior grades but didn’t make rep teams but now some of them have gone on to play qcup and make rep teams for their local comp and those who around them back in days don’t get heard of anymore or as much!

Bro the Welly boys talking about their high school once they’ve graduated is real. I went to Otago uni and my mates would go to a school reunion every year with other old boys at Otago.
