From "The Office": an American television mockumentary sitcom broadcast on NBC. Created as an adaptation by Greg Daniels of the British series of the same name, it is a mockumentary that follows the day-to-day lives of the employees of the Scranton, Pennsylvania branch of Dunder Mifflin, a fictional paper supply company. The series stars Steve Carell as Michael Scott, John Krasinski as Jim Halpert, Jenna Fischer as Pam Beesly and Rainn Wilson as Dwight Schrute.

Erin was a fun character. She had a great dynamic with Michael- it was both sweet and funny. She later had a fun dynamic with Dwight in embracing his insanity. It’s too bad the writers spent so much time putting her in stupid love triangles because they were trying to repeat early Jim and Pam stuff.

Things changed after Steve Carrel left the show, but when Ed Helms took that big break for The Hangover, the writers made only poor decisions for her character. The same happened for a good part of the cast in the final seasons, but for Erin and Andy (when he returned), it was a complete waste of their characters.

This exactly. I would have loved erin in it from the beginning. The chemistry between Michael and Erin was far better then Pam. Hated her character. They could have still done the romance thing with her as a saleswoman. Anyway agree the forced romance thing was just stupid. Almost as bad as letting Steve Carell go.

Erin is an amazing character. I just wish they didn't make her ping-pong between boyfriends just because she's a pretty young woman. Like, first Andy, then Gabe, then Andy again, and then Pete... All of this back and forth should've been replaced by more of these funny moments of her just being herself

Yes, and they made Andys Character a Jerk all of a suddon for no reason. His Behaviour changes extremely and it didn't make sense for him to become this much of an a*hole. I wished they would have kept Andys and Erins Story a kind of a healthy couple or say a happy couple with struggles. Jim and Pam were bot a healthy couple but a kind of a happy couple because they went therapy and they grow as people - I hope.

They shot themselves in the foot by ruining Andy. Ever since Erin was introduced it was clear that she was perfect for Andy and that the plan was for them to end up together eventually. But they literally COULDN’T let Erin end up with Season 9 Andy because he is absolutely a different character and we like her too much to watch her be neglected by him But it sucks because that was like… half of what both their characters still had going for them. It was their biggest arc and it was just completely ruined

for me, Erin is one of the freshest characters that every existed on a TV show. Everytime I see her I get something unexpected. The writers who made up her lines must have had so much fun. It's just so refreshing. And she plays it perfectly!
