After from reading Ron Chernow's book, sitting down to write a project on making a concept album, going to pitch it to the White House, take more than a year to do one of the title songs, spend several years writing an entire musical about a little-known founding father, which seemed a too far-fetched idea to work, perform it off-Broadway, then get the musical taken to Broadway, release a Grammy winning musical album, earn millions of dollars in profits, The Tony, The Pulitzer and another ton of prizes, the impossible thing would be that no emotional bond had been generated.

Hamilton is the one who suggested the duel. Hamilton ruined Burr's career and advertised a man who had none of the views that he had JUST to spite Burr. It's sad because Hamitlon and Burr could have done SO MUCH together if they didnt have some petty duel that got Hamilton killed.

If it's a historical documentation where the producers try to get everything perfecty accurate - fine, cast someone that looks exactly like the portraits. But musicals and theater? It's art. And it's a perfect opportunity to give more diversity to a situation where everyone was male and white.

I’m pretty sure it was because she had already known before hand. So the only real reason she was mad was because he told Litterally everyone. I didn’t know this until recently but even when you listen to the song burn she doesn’t say anything about being mad about the affair. She just talks about how he told everyone. Guess we all just interpreted it wrong the first time

What I’m saying is that when listening to the song again I started to realize that a good part of the song is her just mad at him for releasing the information.
