Today we cover the basics on how to use ComfyUI to create AI Art using stable diffusion models. This node based editor is an ideal workflow tool to leave how AI art is generated, but also how you can really mess with the internal elements much more than you can with any other AI Art interface out there today. #comfyUI #stablediffusion

This is perfect. It's not "Here is how you make amazing artworks! Copy me!!" it's about learning and understanding how the tools work and that's more important to making great art down the line.

Things I love about ComfyUI is it makes me better understand what is running and what it looks like when you generate an image. Not just blindly clicking around without knowing much about how things work and twist around.

This is really great, simplified what I was seeing in all the spaghetti photos. I'm glad this is the first video for comfy I watched. Also super appreciated the kind of throwaway info about how exactly karras and euler were named, it's little things like that that make concepts a little more understandable and relevant.

Your "double heads and extra arms, that's not a problem with negative prompt" comment is priceless. People seem to expect that negative prompts fix every single problem, so they keep adding more and more negative embeddings, which in many cases result in an output image that corrupts the base model. I was adding tons of negative embeddings with the idea that they could only generate great images, but the result was constantly messed up eyes and details, and I was wrongly blaming the base model for that. Now I never use more than 3 negative embeddings, one of them being always the bad hands one, and the others are applied with lower strengths like 0.5 to 0.7, which results in a remarkable improvement that doesn't destroy the base model. A tutorial on negative embeddings would be urgently required.

Using comfy as an a1111 extension is more absurd than building a swimming pool in the bottom of the ocean. Simply learn comfy and forget about auto. I guarantee that comfy does not have any of the memory issues from auto1111, unless you add an extreme amount of loras and complexity.

Really great video! I recently discovered what you can do with ai image generators and I'm obsessed. I'm spending a lot of time these days on civitai and whatnot just to look at what people do with different models, because all I have is a CPU. Can't afford a GPU. I've installed ComfyUI and played with the nodes already, but generating a 512x512 image takes about 10 minutes. That is, with default settings. Will watch the other episodes and wait for the times where a CPU will run models just like GPUs do.

Actually I used lots of "easier" tools before. (I started off with Stability Matrix/Stable Diffusion WebUI) Idk why, since I already knew a bit of visual scripting from UE5, but I just felt like its a hassle and the other tools seemed to be easier. Then i started playing around with it a bit more and stumbled over a couple of your videos. Now finally taking the time to watch this whole playlist to really dive into comfyUI. It seems probably the most capable tool right now.

While I have a basic understanding of things, a lot of the details, that don’t require fiddling with in automatic1111 I’d love to have explained in more detail. Even definitions of all the terms, like what does the seed actually do. What are Lora’s and when do you use them…some of the technical behind-the-scenes stuff. A video on that would be amazing.
