I wouldn’t get my hopes up on reasonable prices when it comes to resellers. They are super greedy and sketchy, and they already put ebay listings for 250$

Thanks to BF! The pets are beautiful and i love that they seem to be fully metallic/glittered. But, I'm really sad that they're comic con exclusive. I really REALLY wish they were avaliable online even if they were only available for a day or two. There's actually a part of me that wishes I never found out about these. it's hard when you want a full collection but exclusive lps are only available in these limited time one location type events 😢

I checked lps Instagram, reddit, and discord and so far I haven't seen a single person going to SDCC. but, I've seen over 100 people who want a dragon.

@@lps_4_liffe Ive heard from the grapevine that past sddc pets where sold online after comicon for a short period. Hopefully, basic fun will follow those footsteps and do the same

these designs are incredible oh my god. I haven’t been too much of a fan of the G7 pets but these blew me away! I do wish that they were comic con exclusive rather than SDCC exclusive so more people across the world had the opportunity to get them .

It has been announced these will ONLY be obtainable in person at Comic-Con, meaning even more fans will not be able to get these adorable dragons. It sucks, but the only thing we can do as the community is to voice our concerns and offer advice for Basic Fun to improve their next exclusive release.

Also wanted to add in that there will only be 2024 of each dragon produced, and you won't be able to select which one you want, they'll come in blind boxes, which is even more frustrating, but as much as the previous concerns.

I wish they had an online release like what Monster High is doing with their SDCC doll, but at least this isn’t the first big five release Edit: What would be nice is a regular toy release with the dragon mold

As much as im glad that BF is releasing new LPS, not everyone is rich and can just casually afford to go to comic con. Like my house is getting demolished, and i left my intensive therapy to help my cat. They should release these dragons online for the people who cant afford to go to comic con.

I don't like that move from them. I know resellers are going to be there first, take everything and sell them for as much as the comic con cat. On top of that, I'm European and I highly doubt I'd be able to reach someone going to SDCC who could possibly get me at least one (+they're apparently blindbags so you can't choose which color you'll get)

I want them so bad. The green one honestly makes me think of dragon ball lol, it’s probably the main one I won’t to get. I didn’t like of the yellow one at first but I kinda love it now. Its name would be cheese 100%.

I really hope that Basic Fun also put out more com y con pets for other locations (even though it’s unlikely) because not everyone can go to specific com y cons to get these pets, and I think it would be really exciting to not only get new pets, but also have different pets for different com y cons so people can trade or something along the lines of that!

I was so excited but now I’m scrambling to try and find someone to buy them for me at sdcc.. I really want all three and I feel like that’s going to be impossible! I hope we will get more in the future, since I,l probably buy a badge for sdcc 2025 just to get a comic con LPs pet if they make more. I think it is a good money making opportunity tho for basic fun especially since they r going bankrupt apparently

San Diego USA it’s too late to buy tickets they sold out as soon as they were on sale, it’s the most iconic comic con so buying scalpers tickets would also be expensive (if not illegal I think that depends where you live)

Personally, I believe this is a very stupid move by Basic Fun due to their recent file for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy. They already lost profit by not properly releasing the new generation. They clearly have a very dedicated community but it is resellers who see the majority of the profit. Unless they open a limited time/stock online order, this is a major profit loss for them and frankly an unfair move to their community. This may come off as harsh but genuinely even from a business perspective they have really kicked themselves.
