In my opinion the far from home Mysterio was the best because it was a well developed character, realistic, yet the CGI made it all so fun to watch!

Bruce Campell was three different people in Sam Rami Spider-Man. Although it would be made sense if he was Chameleon since he blended in as different people in front of Spider-Man

Chameleon? no. Chameleon changes his appearance completely to mimic another living person, Quentin Beck(Mysterio) is an actor that transforms into another character which is what he does in the films.

Mysterio in far from home felt like such a classic spiderman villain. Wanting to ruin peters life relentlessly. The illusion scene felt so much like mysterio.

@@DarsiPadilla LOL it doesn't matter, they modernized Mysterio to be full on CGI because it's CGI in REAL time just like people would see from day to day. Mysterio uses EVERYTHING in his illusions from robots, holograms, hypnosis, Smokes & mirrors to literally ANYTHING at all.. It doesn't have to be "practical effects" at all because as LONG as it casts an illusion, the point of mysterio is made. To mask the truth with his tricks.

I always thought it was interesting that the Bruce Campbell scenes were during some pivotal moments in Peter life. He was the first to announce Peter as Spiderman, kept Peter from making it to MJs play when he wanted to prove his feelings for her and was there when Peter wanted to propose to MJ. And then they wanted to set him up as Quinton Beck that would of been cool. I wonder if he knew if Peter was Spider-man all along since that wrestling match with Bonesaw? Hell he was tutorial narrator for all three Raimi movie games. And the narrator knew Peter was Spider-man.....it all makes sense now.

The 2018 design looked kinda cool...but seriously, the show knows how to make cool villains lame. Not to mention that most people would put Mysterio in their top 5 Spider-man villains, he definitely has one of the most instantly recognizable looks in Spidey's Rouges Gallery.

I would have to say that Mysterio was an underrated villain in the animated series. I couldn't see Bruce Campbell as Mysterio in the Sam Raimi (supposingly) Spider-Man saga. Xander Berkeley brought an 'over-dramatic' voice-performance as Mysterio in The Spectacular Spider-Man series. And I would have to say that Jake Gyllenhaal did a very good job portraying Mysterio in Spider-Man: Far From Home.

I really wish we got to see Mysterio in one of the Raimi films. With the trilogy already being campy (not saying that's a bad thing) as it is, imagine what it would have been like with a character as obscure as Mysterio!
