@@ralphjosephacobo8014 Fun fact, Arno Stark first appeared in Machine Man 2020 #2 in 1984 as Iron Man 2020. Although in the that version he was Tony's cousin once removed (Morgan Stark's son) from (at that time) the future. So it's kinda ironic that he becomes 'Iron Man 2020' in the current Marvel continuity.

@Alistair Stormbreaker They've killed him off because he's not in the MCU films anymore. The comics are now nothing more than a testing area for ideas to put in the films. That's why the F4 went away and now came back. Same for the X-men. When Stark comes back to the films, he comes back to the comics.

I think there’s gunna be a tipping point for comics. Eventually the years will go by and stuff like Magnetos origins will no longer make sense in the present. He lived during the Holocaust and we are getting even further from that time period. So eventually something has to give. These characters will have to be changed or replaced. There will probably be a REAL overhaul of Marvel eventually. I guess for now just enjoy what we have.

The Machine Man mini-series from 1984-5 was set in the future, which now is the present, and Iron Man 2020, Arno Stark, is the villain in that story.

But the whole bomb threat to a hospital stunt seems like a villain play but no one is a hero in war I guess...

Tony Stark is an A.I., Cyclops, Wolverine and some of the X-Men are clones and Steve Rogers is physical manifestation of his memory or whatever the Hell the ending of Secret Empire meant. Guess Thor, Spider Man, Hulk and the Fantastic Four are only original guys left.

Everybody be Iron Man but Tony. Riri, Doom, Arno. Seems they could have use the Phalanx instead of inventing a new threat. Then you’ve got some X-men crossover potentially.especially since humans merge with machines to defeat mutants. Have krakoa recognize AI rights, treaty of sorts with Stark, and head off the machine alliance with humans

I don't normally leave comments on you're vids because I think they're generally accurate and good. However, I am going to correct your 13th floor statement. I grew up and spent the majority of my life living in NYC. The building I was raised in did, indeed, have a 13th floor. As many other buildings in NY and all over the world (I've traveled quite a bit as well). The 13th floor is omitted more often in older buildings and pretty rarely in newer ones. It is, as you stated, a superstitious practice that is observed less and less as time moved on. Anyway, that's it. Please, keep up the good work and continue showing folks that in this day and age, one can make a living doing what one loves. To your continued success, Patrick Maloney.

I'm down with this story so far. I'm glad Arno wasn't just forgotten. We really need like a "Secret Children Wars" event or something where everybody's secret children/clones/multi-universal doppelgangers can fight each other. Arno, Dylan, Normie, X-23 and her "sisters" are a few fights that I'd like to see that come to mind.

Also now that I think about it, I would like to see a Super Sons-esque type team-up with Dylan and Normie where each have the Venom and Carnage symbiot respectively. Kind of the perfect team-up when you consider that Dylan can keep Carnage's crazy ways in check through his powers, especially if he's helping his pal do it.

I don't think most of the people commenting realize that A: This is a follow-up to the Iron Man 2020 from the eighties (hence the silly character design and why the event is happening at all) and B: Based on the fact that this is a "limited series," and Marvel's general tendencies to always restore the status quo, this series is almost definitely just going to tell one story with Iron Man 2020 before bringing Tony back in his regular role.

You know the irony of all this? Arno believes that robots can never be human and that's his driving force in trying to "stop" them an yet the robots he's fighting keep responding in a human-like nature as opposed to a robot one. Even able to use Arno's own ego against him. That's probably the point of the story but it's done in a really good way.
