Do you remember, the Friday night before the new fall line up of Saturday morning cartoons debuted, they actually had a preview show, so you could plan out your viewing strategy. 6 am to 12 pm.

What a great adventure show, animation and voice acting holds up and I say that as an anime enthusiast who watches everything in sub. I too grew up with this on TV and watched it every day that it was on, good memories!

I loved the animated cartoon version of Flash Gordon, because the film moves smoothly, voices are perfectly cast, and the music 🎶 is unforgettable ! Prior to watching this cartoon series, I usually watched the original B & W serial on a Chicago-area TV 📺 station. By the 1940s standards, the serial was the StarWars of its time ; the serialized version looks cheap and cheesy now !

Am I the only one who thinks Filmation's animation in this series is superior to He-man? I wish the He-man series would've been this detailed.

The backgrounds are nice and detailed, and the monsters are well animated, but the human characters seem less expressive than they were in He-man

I used to watch this on Saturday mornings on whatever network carried it. I think 🤔 I have the whole set on DVD somewhere ? However, now that KZfaq is posting this classic toon, I am delighted. Saw the posting for the 1st episode on 11/11/22 ; but not since then. Has it been removed to make room for subsequent episodes 🤔 ? If so, can someone please repost it? I saw episodes 2-3 using my tablet !

It is also very advance comics mainly for my br when he is kid in bankura.it is linked to Gordon banks a goal keeper of England it is space related comics streep but my br lost all interest in nante fante the bengali comics so I face acute problem in bankura for last 85 to 87 because for my cute br was able to collect it

@@OriruBastard isn’t the woke movement all about that diverse races, sex, etc… Look at what mcu turned into🤦‍♂️ how about Kevin’s masters of the universe? Every fantasy, sci-fi, teenage show turned into a shitshow. I don’t bother when they’re about to tell a homo persons story at all. But changing the original theme just to push their strong female or gay character to shine, it sucks the fun out of it. And most of the time, they don’t even make sense. They don’t help the community rather then attracting hate speech against them. When I look at the modern shows and movies, everytime they promote something to show the importance of diversity, it turns out weird. The biggest example for it is black panther. Another one is shehulk. Charles angels is another shipwreck🤦‍♂️ I mean they’re not only bad in general, completely embarrassing 🙈 maybe they do it deliberately, I really like to find out what the message or guidance they’re trying to send us to help our modern world dilemmas 🤷‍♂️

Hey no problem being stuck in a jungle on an alien planet with carnivorous plants and Australian kookaburras. We can always be saved by Robin Hood clones in tights. I forgot how lame that animated series was. It got worse in the following seasons with that annoying little dragon shouting yabadeee every two seconds. Ugh.
